Im so happy right now that i pulled the trigger on upgrading my pc last year instead of waiting. Today it would be nightmare. I guess my MSi 1080 gamingX would have to last little longer with those prices. But tbh i never buy on release day. I wait a year for prices to drop, this time its not even possible anymore for them to drop. I got my 1080 for a price of a top model 1070 just because of a weekend sale and it was just before the cryptocurrency boom, today the prices are back to release day ones or even more. They even mentioned on the page max 2gpu per customer so it was right at the beginning of it all. There was no mention of limiting cards per customer before in the shops where i buy hardware. Hope it dies at some point otherwise i would have to keep my card for years until it dies. So honestly i dont care atm about the new gpu coming because the prices would be ridiculous.
Thats why i started to use trainers in games like this. they slow your progression in the game to push you into buying the time savers.
No wonder that i cant finish most of those games if i dont cheat in SP i hate the grind. I wont ever spent any more of my money in a game that already cost me 80-90 over here.
@siarhei: we will find out soon :-D... they usually do the trailers and articles to hype us for the game and get those pre-orders lol. Not always true in the end what they show in them.
But seeing in few trailers that you get the mako vehicle or what it is called this time around, and since articles says no open world, i was thinking right away big zone like in DAI (one trailer showed the attack on the outpost in an open area)..otherwise stupid to use that vehicle, but then again in last ME games you did get few missions where you drive it for few minutes with that jumping around in it to get to where mission is. And they use frostbite engine like in BF/DAI etc that can do open areas/maps. Im pretty sure they will squeeze some corridor mission in there too hehe (lets hope they dont).. I just hope the game will be good as i love the universe and im also scifi fan :-D
@scottyp360: Honestly first time i played, i did all i could find. Explored all areas, so some would say waste of time hehe. Checked every marked place on map, every corner, found all witcher sets that was possible to find.
With base game and both HoS and B&W i have close to 200h maybe more. Cant remember exact number since both gog launcher and witcher is uninstalled atm to make room for other games, but im sure it was very close to 200h first time. Without exploration etc, just from quest to quest a lot less time i think a lot. Some people finished the base game in 40-50 hours, but i dont think they did much more then main quests and side quest tied to it.
@siarhei: since the interview says its not open world sandbox game. i personally think it will be like regions were in DAI. One big open area a planet. Same dev company afterall. How the space exploration will be??will it be open space...i dont know but i think they will do the same as in the other ME games with galaxy map, perhaps slightly different, where you pick systems planets etc and the pilot fly the ship to it. From what i can read in few articles and see in trailer videos, they call it seamless travelling without loading screens, but you wont be able to fly tempest yourself the pilot do, so i think it will be an animation showing you the travel to the place you pick up. So i guess no free space exploration..But the game comes out in few weeks we will see and find out.
@scottyp360: yes exactly thats why im not worried about ME:A not being open world as other ones wasnt. But people might think it was open world, when devs and trailers says about searching for a planet where humanity can move too in andromeda galaxy, so people think visiting whole planets etc not just a one huge area on a planet. Im just worried personally that gameplay wise it will be like DA:I...I have over 130 hours in it and just couldnt finish it as i got bored of the sidequest, collecting stuff, puzzles etc.. yes i could just dont do them, but when its rpg i like to do all. DAI was like a "single player mmo". And i finished ME1-3 few times now. Yes Bioware mentioned the witcher 3 (that i also played 2 times so far) talking about MEA with the more meaningfull sidequest etc, but it could be just PR talk, anyways we will find out in few weeks time how the game is :-D
