I am not a big fan of this practice at all but you do not have to buy it. That being said, my 3 year old daughter loves her princess DVD's so much that she practicaly walk around with them all day long (a stretch I know....but I am trying to make a point). Her DVD's have countless smudges on them but they all play just fine. Nothing a bit of gentle wiping cant fix. It really is not that big of a deal. Gamestop only did that for me one time (I cannot remember which one), but I generally only buy games on their release date. I still have not figured out why their would be an opened copy on day one but hey.....I bought it anyways

Not yet but my first two will be Killzone 2 (75% positive) and Heroes over Europe (day 1 for me, since I loved the PS2 version of Heroes of the Pacific). I am also on the fence about HAWX

According to the new 2009 version of the Webster's Dictionary: the word boring is now defined as..........HOME! In my opinion HOME is the video game version of the Maginot Line. Utterly useless and laughable...

What games did you buy in 2008---------MLB the Show, GTA IV, Civilation Revolution, COD WAW What is your game of the year-------COD WAW What is you runner-up game of the year?-----GTA IV What was the most disappointing (least favorite) game you bought (not rent or demo) this year-----------I really like all of the games that I bought. If I had to pick one it would be GTA IV for the online not being as good as I wanted What is the best online multiplayer game you bought in 2008---------COD WAW What PS3 online game, regardless of year released, did you play the most in 2008-----------COD IV (can you tell I like COD) What, if any, PSN games did you buy---------Jeapordy, Age of Booty What PS3 accessories did you buy in 2008---------Rumble controller What 2008 videogame gave the 'most bang for your buck?'------Civilization Revolution.....I played that a TON, plus downloaded a great deal of free content. What Blu-ray movies did you buy in 2008---------NONE What is your greatest 2008 gaming moment--------I went 55-2 in COD WAW on Seelow in Headquarters. It was a great game. I started off the game on a 17 kill streak and got killed by a damn sniper. Followed that off with a 30 kill streak (that is currently my best). Team won....I padded stats! What is the videogame you are most exited about in 2009?----------------Killzone 2, and Tom Clancy HAWKS (still ticked that the 360 got Ace Combat) And for fun, what is your most favorite videogame of all time--------tough question but I would give a top 3 of RBI baseball for the Nintendo, PTO IV for the PS2 and Battlefield Modern Combat for the PS2

I never played RSV2, but I can tell you about the first one. I was really impressed with the online for RSV and played it for a hundred plus hours. I have not played it since COD4, but I can assume that online is dead. The single player was great fun, but I have to say that the ending left much to be desired. I thought it was just challenging enough to play with out being able to beat it in a day (if ya know what i mean). Other than the ending it would be worth picking up if you can get it on the cheap. You will have to go elsewhere for your RSV2 info....

I would rate my top 5 in this order. This is easilly my favorite genre....

#1: PTOIV for the PS2---- This little known RTS (although flawed) is my all time favorite. The only one of my 60 PS2 games to survive the purge when I bought my PS3.

#2: COD WAW---Single player was epic and online is great

#3: Battlefield 1942----The only PC i have really jammed and this one initiated me into the world of 64 player online. EPIC!

#4: Heroes of the Pacific-- anxiously awaiting the next gen version coming soon

#5: Medal of Honor: Frontlines for the PS2---Storming the beaches of Normandy straight out of Saving Private Ryan

Honorable mentions: Secret Weapons over Normandy, COD 3, COD 2, Brothers in Arms (whatever the second one was called)
