If you like Episodes in your Witcher...there will be 8 of them. Nothing has been written. No one has been casted. And the show will be shot at a location.
Only one MP game makes my top 5 all time games that i've played.
We see a similar trend in movies. Superhero blockbusters get made every year and every year they make money. But ask anyone to start naming great movies...is a superhero movie even close to the top?
yea it was a good game. it just wasn't mass effect. well it was and it wasn't. there were times were I felt "yes this is what I've waited for"...but quickly i would turn 180 degrees in .02 seconds and say "I waited for this?"
In the end...your story was more for pre-teens in my opinion. Just imagine a great R-Rated movie trying to maintain greatness after watering down their content to attain that PG13 rating. Hard to imagine right? Now imagine one of those good PG13 movies but beef up the action and drama to an R-rated level and its easily a much better movie. But just like in the movies....$>quality. And I can not judge and grade art based on the dollars it brings.
Mass Effect deserves to live on. But in order for it to live on...you guys can't short cut it. Give it the budget time and attention it deserves. Do that and you will make money.
FYI, gamers don't care about relevance. They care about quality. They care about a game's identity. Take a look at GTA...and then take a look at the SOCOM franchise(RIP SOCOM)
