@rmokeefe76: if you score MEA against the first 3 games....then a 6 is spot on. But if you are scoring it as a stand alone game for what it is...then IMO it's around a 7-7.5

@MegamanX97: I was young when i played Myst and Wing Commander...but those two games never left my memory. Hell, i'll include Mech Warrior and The Neverhood. What I remember from Myst was the complex puzzles and mysteries

The game is not perfect. And not every character and not every piece of dialogue come up short. The game tugs and pulls you in opposite directions as far as "is it good" or "
is it bad"...like in the beginning cool things are happening "i like this game"...but then the characters suck/dialogue suck and then you kind of slide into the "this game is meh" category...but then you get your ship and the game is great again...then its meh quests and the game kind of sucks again...then you get the nomad and teh game is cool again...so forth and so on.

If i could go back in time...i'd still drop my money on it.

well the good news is...the important things that make ME great are there. ME 1 was not technically perfect by any stretch. Characters, Story, and gameplay are the key elements.

I can't be more excited about this game. All of these changes sound wonderful, combat, dialogue and the open spaces. I'm confident that the characters will be fleshed out as teh game goes and that i will grow to love them as much as any of my favorite characters from the first series

ME was exploring the milky way before NMS. And it looks like we will be exploring Andromeda in much the same way as previous games. For example..."can you visit any and all stars?"....that would be a "NO YOU CAN NOT" which makes it not even close to NMS. "Can we fly from space to ground with no transition animation"...again that is a no therefore it is nothing like NMS.

I think you have not played NMS or ME at all. I'm not a sheep. I don't swallow the dribble spewing from some tinfoil hat wearing troll like poster. I can put two and two together and i see you are a raging mad Space Ace fan trolling all games that deal in space.
