Well thanks to missing my medication the other day I haven't been feeling tip top today so I decided to take a day off and put some time towards some gaming so I picked back up my copy of Crisis Core that has been lying in my room for the past few weeks due to my complete inability to beat the final boss. Well I got back to it earlier today and levelled up a whole lot over the space of 3 or 4 hours and then spent at least 30 mins fighting Genesis Avatar and then Genesis himself and needless to say I finally did it Woot!! I was so impressed and waiting to watch the ending cinematic when I suddenly notice my PSP wasn't showing the ending cinematic, in fact it wasn't doing very much at all. IT HAD FROZE! all that time and effort (mostly) wasted and now I'm far too jaded to try it again and am just going to watch the ending cinematic online and going around telling everyone that I have in fact done it even though I have absolutely no way of proving it thanks to my crappy PSP deciding it was crap and crapped out on me. Sorry for the gratuitous use of the word crap but i felt it was nescessary, to be honest stronger language is nescessary but through fear of the almighty mods I've toned it down and if your offended by the word crap there are probably one or two things you should do to yourself concerning several orifices, a spanish midget named pedro and the entire back catalogue of Cliff Richard CDs. Sorry to be in a ranty shouty mood today but thats the best your going to get, I might as well try and calm myself down with pictures of kittens though or I could go back on GTA4 and indiscrimintely kill people for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Right I last left you with depressing news that my copy of GTA4 had been delayed due to shortages so I thought OK i'll add GTA4 to my game que on swapgame without really expecting to see it anytime at all, WRONG! I am now cruising the streets of Liberty City and enjoying every second I would do a longer blog but I need to get back to my PS3 and hit the streets of Liberty City, laters

Well just a quick update to let people know about the GTA4 situation, last night I recieved an e-mail saying.

"I am sorry to inform you but our stock for GTA4 has been delayed due to a worldwide , we will recieve our next shipment on 11 May. Sorry for any inconvenience"

So I guess I have a lot of time to study in the next 12 days whilst I'm not playing GTA4 but this does mean when I do get it, 3 days before my exams I won't have anytime to actually play it.

Damn

Well with less than 48 hours before GTA4 hits the shelves and just about everyone takes a week off and the world generally stands still, I thought I'd take the time to do a little blog about nothing at all, mostly to assure people that I am alive even though you may not hear from me for a few days (depending on how quickly I get my copy of GTA4). It does really annoy me though that this years biggest game is being released so close to exam season, How am I meant to keep up with studying for exams and give GTA4 the time it deserves? especially considering how likely I am to fail these exams again. Yes that's right again, for I am repeating a year in college because I did so well last time, so if I fail this time, thats truly it. So as you can imagine I am truly pooing myself about these exams, even more so then when I played condemned. That coupled with my shall we say 'complex' character mean that I am pretty sure I am going to fail and then I've ruined my life and I'll probably just die alone drunk under a bridge somewhere, I know I have such an optimistic view on my life at the moment but I guess the stress has just got to me and now I'm actually worrying, which if you know me, is very out of character.

Anyway, In an attempt to liven up this thoroughly depressing blog I will totally rip off other blogs and open myself up for any questions you may wish to ask me about anything as well as give you a picture of a cat for no reason other than that I like cats.

well here I am again at 1:15 am writing another blog in gamespot. I had to take the day off of college today for, let's just say medical reasons and although I probably will go to college tomorrow I really really don't want to. Hopefully college will be cancelled due to industrial action called by the national union of teachers but this close to exams it does seem unlikely as I think it's only schools that are closing because GCSEs are a bit further in the distance than the AS level exams. Anyway I've managed to get back into Mario Kart Wii so I've been playing that whenever I can tear myself away from the laptop, or usually I just multi-task and ha both my Wii and laptop on at the same time, man the electric company must love me.

Can't really think that much about what to write about and to be honest I can't really think properly anymore but I guess thats what sleep deprivation does to you, this is now my 4th night in a row which I have had a bout of insomnia as well as other problems which are stopping me from sleeping. Just started learning to use photoshop to put some stuff together after today hearing about someone going for a job designing GUIs for video games and I thought I'd quickly throw something together just to give them some ideas and I was pretty pleased with what I managed using MS paint so I thought I'd go find my brothers Photoshop disc and install it.

Well, it is currently 1am and I have to be up in about 5 hours to get to college but it seems this may not be as big if a problem as actually getting to bed. It seems as if insomnia has returned which is nothing really new to me as I ususally get bouts of insomnia among other things. I guess I just need some good ways to get to sleep as I have tried the usual relaxation exercises that I have been taught by numerous therapists but I'll probably go for my usual age old technique of a glass of water and final fantasy right now and then just pump myself full of stimulants the next day.

Onto gaming, What I have been playing the most is Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3, which I love to bits. I Had this for PC but I didn't really get into, mostly because my PC isn't an amazing graphical powerhouse that is needed to run the game and although I don't usually mind and can play some relatively new titles on it on the lower settings UT3 just didn't seem to cut it for me on the PC front. However as the PS3 can handle some pretty impressive stuff this is no issue at all for it so I've been getting a bunch of mods and playing UT3 to my hearts content. Also, thanks to my amazing girlfriend tofu-lion I've got back into the Sims 2 so of course I had to get all the new expansion packs I've missed since I last played and have been pretty much glued to my laptop playing The Sims 2 pretty much constantly as it is such an addictive game.

Anyway, I think nows the time to get a drink, get on Final Fantasy and see if I can get some form of sleep, or maybe just check out 4oD and bbciplayer and plan my caffeine whoring tomorrow. Night Night

Well, I've been unbelievebly lazy today but at least I've achieved a fair bit. Basically had a full day of gaming. Been playing Morrowind again on my laptop and I'm becoming addicted to it again so I'm probably going to have to build up an uber character again and fill my meager 80GB HDD with mods and basically play this game for eternity. After I could drag myself away from Morrowind I managed to finish Condemned 2. Brilliant game, and with the looks of the ending I will be awaiting Condemned 3 with anticipation. So now I have to send back Condemned 2 to swapgame and see if I can get COD4 or UT3 or both as I have sent back Army of Two already. Also, in an attempt to getting back to my Wii off of my PS3 with the purchase of Mario Kart Wii so I'll do a review for that soon but first I need to check out all the various modes and the such. Anyway can't really be bothered to do a huge blog so I'm just going to leave you there.

Well, my dad came home from work yesterday with a bit of a surprise for me. A shiny new laptop! I think he got this laptop for signing up to a broadband provider and then decided he liked the laptop he had already so he gave me this one (after I told him how I would need it for college and all that stuff) so I've spent the entire day on it re-installing the OS and getting it to a happy working standard. I hate those stupid discs that the people who make the computers give you. I installed the suppled OS which happily came with about 10GBs of extra programs I really didn't want which I had to spend literally hours going through one by one removing them off my HDD in order to free up some space for the apps I will use (and some games of course)

Also I was quite impressed with how it performs (after I had finished installing the things I wanted and removed that I didn't) I put on it Morrowind as I knew it would be a safe bet it would work along with the fact it is truly an awesome game and also thought what might work that is a little more upto date? I thought maybe at a push Portal as it seems to be the least resource draining out of all the games on the orange box so I picked it up especially with my laptop in mind. Installed it and to my surprise, it worked! Perfectly! So I guess I'll have to give Glados another whipping on Portal this time on my laptop and might have to invest in the rest of the orange box for PC if they will all work on my laptop. So there you go, I'm really pleased with my laptop and I'm probably going to be completely glued to it for the next few days, I'm even writing this blog on it in the comfort of my bedroom, in stead of having to go all the way downstairs and sit in the office.

Predicting the future of Xbox360 perhaps?

I've kinda been neglecting Gamespot over the past few days, well I feel I have anyway. So I though I'd grace you guys with another blog post.

I've had a busy few days, I went to Alton Towers on Wednesday, which was incredible fun, went with a bunch of mates from college so of course we were making sure we went on all the really big rides such as nemesis and oblivion. Seems as most other colleges and schools have had their easter holiday when it was actually easter and our college decided to be weird and have it now instead. This of course meant that going mid week, whilst a lot of schools were open we had a lot of the park to ourselves and if anyones been to a deserted theme park they know how awesome it is (No ques all day!)

Also I've been looking around on ebay as I might invest in an xbox360 but as I'm so incredibly tight (and have a fair deal of knowledge in consoles) I might see if I can pick up a really cheap red ringed 360 and open that bad boy up and attempt to fix the problem myself. This isn't as bad an idea as some of you may think, I'm not just throwing money into a broken 360, I hope to fix it up and basically end up with a 360 for about £40, or just an official microsoft paperweight.

I'm also meaning to get my reviews for condemned 2 and army of two up soon but I've been really busy with alton towers and spending yesterday with tofu-lion I finally have some free time to spend reviewing (so long as I can get myself to put my sixaxis down) Anyway hopefully reviews will be up and I'll talk to you all soon

EDIT: Condemned 2 review is now up, so check it out, still can't really be bothered to do Army of Two review, probably get bored later on and do one later today.

I've got my games through from Swapgame.com, got Condemned 2: Bloodshot and Army of Two today. I've played a bit of Condemned 2 but then my friend Ben came over and we hit army of two pretty hard on Co-op. Might have a review up at some point soon, been thinking of doing a video review for something but still working out how and exactly what to do. Also might do a video blog at some point in the future so then people who don't know me in real life can see what I look like and know that I actually exist. But then again I might not.

Anyway, blasted my way through Army of Two, me and ben got to the last mission in one sitting, pretty much been playing all day but we've gone from new game all the way through to Miami, which I believe is the last level, so I guess now I've got to start thinking about what I want to rent out next because I can't really see myself revisiting Army of Two alot in the nearby future. So does anyone have any suggestions on PS3 games to get with a good Co-op. Also, in my recent addiction to Microsoft Gamerpoints I've been playing Halo 2 and Shadowru, I'm enjoying Halo 2 and might have to go play through Halo 3 sometime soon, even though I don't have an xbox360, so I'll be heading to bens to get some Co-op on.

Right, we'll I'm really tired and I need to get up early tomorrow to go to Alton Towers with a bunch of mates from college as it is our late spring break. So suggestions on PS3 co-op games and ideas for video blog/review guys, see you all later.
