Go play it... this is the only game I ever returned to it time after time, years after its release. Last time I played was in December of last year or something.
Endure the initial graphic impression and you'll soon discover an amazing world of things to explore, weapons customization, diplomacy, land, etc etc.
Damn, graphics will be always more important because IT SELLS more. Kids and most people want better graphics, and marketing people aren't stupid, they give them just that, the rest can also be important but not with the priority that is put into graphics. How many people here are old enough to remember having played very enjoying games on the old consoles or the PC that they actually enjoyed and nowadays you may have tried some games with apparently good graphics that you find yourself experiencing them as shallow or close to it?
