Just updating this. I just tried to turn it on to change games to see if The Darkness was causing it. I got the problems right when I turned on the system. I turned it off. The next two times I tried to turn on the systems, the audio would come on, but not the picture. I definitley think that it is the system now.
Okay, before I freak out about this, I'll ask you guys. Last night I was playing the darkness, when my screen started turning a greenish tint all over. Since I was in one of the World War 1 stages of the game, I maybe thought that maybe this was one of the effects. When it got so bad that I could not play, I thought otherwise. I quit back to the dashboard, and lo and behold, the same problems have followed here. At this point, I quit. I turn back on today, and I played the Army of Two demo. Everything was fine. I start to play the Darkness again, and the same problems crop up again. Same with the Dashboard. Since I was playing on a compute monitor with the VGA cable, I got my component cables out again and hooked up to my HDTV. Same problem. At this point, it is either the game or my hardware. Please advise me.
I hate the mods on this site. All I try to do is post a few questions about GTA 4, and they go a mod me. For what? How is asking a simple question disruptive posting? This site has been going down the drain ever since the Jeff incident. Makes me want to leave.
I know this may be a dumb question, but how do you play multiplayer in GTA IV? Everytime I go into the menu and hit ready, it always says the game needs more players. The problem is, they never come. Can anyone give me some tips to get into a game quickly? Thanks.
I believe GTA4 will sell better, even on the PS3. While MGS4 is an exclusive, and is being marketed as such, I don't think it is mainstream enough to beat something as huge as GTA. MGS has always been a series for the hardcore imo.
