To all xbox fanboys, new xbox will probably have mandatory kinect implementation for a start. Second, if you all expect new xbox or ps in the price same as Nintendo but much better guts then you might just get that. Only thing is that will be just an iteration and not innovation with more adds and paid multilayer.

Think about it peoples, you are paying to have adds on your game console.

Well somehow Mass Effect 3 had no issues with porting. I bet it sold loads on WiiU with little changes . BLOBS 2 would not do a straight port if they thought it will not sell ? This is just a bs answer.

In all honesty, does one looks on all the gfx details when playing fast paced FPS or Racing games ? Those in pursuit of best graphics should look into PC market. For me gameplay experience is no. 1

Good article. I'm and indie dev as well and completely relate to David. One moral from all that is to not quit your day job and hope that one day your creation will be a success.

@129260 Well i guess that heavily depends on the user. My Wii is used more and more comparing to xbox. I play games on Wii with my kids and kids can watch what i play wihout a fear that something is not suitable for them. Most games for xbox or ps3 are for adults only and if you are one with massive amounts of time then you are right, Nintendo is not working for you. Wii sports and sports resort are the perfect games for family and they are sill played in my house. NintendoLand is another to add to that list.

Windwaker in HD ?? shut up and take my money. I can't wait to play it again. That was my first Zelda game few years back (i know, i know i'm very late at the party). I want to see a smile on my kids faces when they will see this.

Funny when all the major players trying to lock their systems and control them as much as possible, and after so many years they are afraid of open systems that they laughed at so much.

I waited 10 years for Steam on Linux, and as soon they finally done it, world awoken from sleep.
