i remember those! it actually took me some effort to find them again on the site.. they were great to read and often an inspiration to go back and replay old favorites or go out and find games after discovering what i missed the first time around. as far as i'm concerned the greatest games of all time section expresses a lot of the "personality" of the site and it's editors and I would agree that it's really a missed opportunity to not contribute to it regularly and give it a more prominent place on the site as it really shows what gaming should be all about; being sucked in, being amazed, being challenged and just having fun.
times have really changed though and gamespot with it so i can think of a couples of reasons why this would be getting very low priority.. nevertheless i'd be glad to support your cause! ;)

well said, i looked on gamespot for some contact info but didnt see any i guess ill have to search google for that, but i think if enough people show interest by sending some emails or something, maybe gamespot would consider bringing it back. if anyone has any ideas please post them here, thanx
Its been a few years since they added any games to the Greatest Games of All Time feature. this isn't the 1st thread posted on this subject either, and a few people said Gamespot was gonna start doing it again, but still nothing. i really liked the feature personally and think gamespot should get this going again. has anyone heard anything about this? what does everyone else think?
i know i liked reading about all the game in 'greatest games of all time.' does anyone know why they stopped doing it? what do you guys and gals think? should they bring it back?

dont you hate when some d*ck tells you to go to google when you ask a question in the forums, i mean if i wanted to go to google i would. i know what google is beleive it or not but i think the less google knows about me the better. yes, im paranoid..so what?
what do you think? agree/disagree?
they have x-com: ufo defense at steam for $4.99 and i've never played it, so how is the game? whats your opinion? also how well does it run on vista32?

RTS all have a common failing... If you want to kick back and the battles and lovely graphics, you will lose. I like RTS games, but I have a bad habit of stopping and watching - and losing because I should have been working it.

I have this same problem lol. But RTS games in general aren't really hard to grasp. I first started off playing Age of Empires II, which isn't very hard, and is really representative of most RTS games. You can also download a free demo for it, so that you can get a feel for the game. For practice, just start a custom game with the computers set on easiest, and they'll basically never attack you so you can take your time to build up and get used to the game.
I also played Warcraft 3, and I thought it was super hard so you may not wanna try that one. Which RTS games have you played, anyway?
i actually found warcraft 3 to be one of the easier ones because you don't have to build up a huge army, granted i haven't made that far into the game, but so far it doesn't seem too overwhelming.
