okay i been trying to get into rts games for about oh a year now, and i just cant seem to grasp them which blows cause i really like them. i just dont know im not some noob gamer (well with rts games i am) that thinks guitar hero is the greatest game ever! so why cant i play rts games, was i born without that part of the brain. would i be the worst general that ever lived if given the chance? so can anyone point me in the direction of some kind of SUPER NOOB RTS STRATEGY GUIDE 4 DUMMIES? (this is embarrasing)......help me please b4 i give up completely.
I just started playing this game a few days ago and i love it, but be prepared to read ALOT, seriously if you dont mind reading i think u will like this game. it really is brilliant and you'll def notice within the 1st hour. and remember...Wisdom is more important than any other stat, imho. plus you can buy the game for less than $20 now so you don't have much to lose.

ok, i just started playing planescape torment yesterday and its freaking amazing. basically i'm just looking for any tips or suggestions anyone might have for this sweet ass game.
also, does anyone know of any similar games for pc that dont require monster rigs to play them. (i have a fairly "standard" laptop, def not top-of-the-line.)

be very thorough with dialogue options, they are well written, enchanting to read and reward you more than combat does.
most quests are more complicated and demand more exploring/experiementing than your standard RPG quests; so, be patient and look for clues, try your luck.
as for other games -- BG series, Fallout 1&2; Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura; Icewind dales are more combat oriented but still very good.
...we don't have this kind of quality CRPG anymore...
yeah tell me about it, old school games are the best. i know i just bought the Witcher,i thought it would be a good newer game but my computer cant even run it well on the minimum settings. i need to build a gaming rigok, i just started playing planescape torment yesterday and its freaking amazing. basically i'm just looking for any tips or suggestions anyone might have for this sweet ass game.

But yeah if anyone has any good tips/strategies or even some links to some not-well-known walkthroughs (not gamefaqs), i'd like a really good mage walkthrough, send em alnog, thanx.
