And I missed it. Oh well. Peace everybody.
I finally made it to level 39. Hey everybody. Hope the end of the world is treating you well. :P
Hey friends. How are all of you?
I just created a new blog because I wanted a place to write whatever I wanted to. Please check it out and follow/comment. I'm gonna write about a bunch of different topics: music, current events, random silliness, etc. If there's anything you want me to discuss on the blog, let me know.
It's been a while since I posted anything here. How've you been everybody?
Since it's been who knows how long since I've talked about games on this site, here is the list of games I'm playing now:
Fallout New Vegas: not as good as 3, but still fun when it's not crashing.
NBA 2K11: Great basketball game, I do miss being able to create super players like in 2k3. oh well. My fantasy association starting line up is Nowitzki, Yao,Gordon, Maggette and Hinrich
Rock Band 3: You know I need my music fix. If anyone wants to play online, my PSN is the same as my username here.
Scott Pilgrim: Great old school beat-em-up.
Also I've recorded some live performances of some songs from my latest album, INCLUDING TWO BRAND NEW SONGS! Sorry, got too excited.
Here are the links. I might remaster the audio and add drums and possibly bass for the album versions.

Goodbye 2010!
It's been an interesting year for me. I've been working on my novel, applying to grad school and recording my 5th album, Dead Falcon Rising.
With the exception of I Ain't Dead Yet! (whichwas released as a single in 2009 and inspired me to make a 5th album), most of the album was released this year:
Dead Falcon Rising (arranged by date recorded):
I Ain't Dead Yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIYzbSTrn4Y
I Don't Need a Thing ('Cuz I'm Numb to the World): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQZXZ51Lq88
Nightmare Before the Dawn
Sugar In The Raw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XDk_FNoOvM
Love is a Riot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqeV_Nwqi1Q
Overkill: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnGupBQuPDE
E-String Requiem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHslFIEB69M

I still have about a handful of songs left to record for the album and I'll get to those in 2011.
Here is my last recording of 2010, a cover of I Woke Up in Love This Morning (Originally by the Partridge Family). I decided to end the year with a lighthearted spoof of a pop song. I recommend listening to it with headphones. If you prefer a more stripped down version with just acoustic guitar and vocals, it's available on reverbnation.

Happy New Year everybody! May all your troubles remain in the old year and let the new year bring joy and exciting new opportunities.
Hey everybody! How are you? The holidays are coming up/here. I'd like to wish everyone merry Christmas, happy Hanukah, happy Kwanzaa and a happy Festivus for the rest of us. Check out the latest release from my one man band, Mike's F'd Up Journey:

This originated as an uncovered gem from the MFUJ vaults. I found the audio recording of an old poem I had written back in college and decided to set it to music. For the arrangement, I relied heavily on samples so it might sound like some of the songs from my eponymous first studio album. I did record a guitar solo for the outro so I wouldn't feel too bad about using so many samples.
