I'm casting my vote for horizon zero dawn. Loved the story in that game.

Wow I didn't know that uncharted, Spider-Man, days gone, last of us 2, god of war, ratchet and clank, infamous; MLB the show, killzone, jak and daxter, and whatever sucker punch is working on now are Japanese.

Come on people. The amount of downplay I see by people saying oh PS4 exclusives are Japanese games. It's wrong.

Of course PlayStation has all their exclusives, plus 3rd party and in addition Japanese support as well from great developers like platinum games that tried but couldn't get an exclusive out on xbox one as scalebound was canceled. But on PlayStation you get cool stuff like last guardian bloodborne gravity rush persona neir in addition to other stuff that's already there.

i mean we all know that in this business money is made on games and not so much hardware sales. i guess the loss condition is leaving tons of money on the table, losing that potential income. how many units has mario kart on switch sold, now how many more would they sell in addition if they made a ps4 version? i guess u can say it goes the same way for sony, well how much did uncharted sell? they could of sold x amount more if it was on switch too. but with switch install base of 1 million and sony's install base of 60 million, nintendo has more incentive to make such a move.

i own all consoles and enjoy them. geez, a guy can't even make a comment to spur some discussion in a form called SYSTEM WARS.

many thought it unlikely sega would call nintendo and say wanna make a sonic game together, but here we are today with sonic and mario at the olympics.

there's making money, and making a lot more money. most companies don't just like making money, and then making the same money or less they always want growth.

Really tho if you think about it, if you had to be stuck with one console for 5-7 years would you take an xbox one or switch? switch is new console still but lets look at Wii u and Wii before it. It's easy to criticize MS for their current line up (or lack of) this year, but taken as a whole i think you'd still get a better game experience with xbox. breadth of games, online experience, interface/aps/games with gold/features/4k blu ray/ netflix etc and not to mention 3rd party support. You might get tired of nintendos's tried and true games over and over at least on xbox you'd get more variety gta's red dead redemption..the dragon ages, ori and the bline forest, "exclusives" sunset overdrive, quantum break, ori and the blind forest. and of course the staples, gears halo forza. but maybe for some mario, splatoon and weird accessories and apps for online chat would trump all that.

is that admirable or not? at the end of the day what do nintendo want to do, make money or put out great games for people to enjoy? i mean every business wants to make money, but whats the point of your business, what do u want to make money doing? wanna make money selling cigarettes? or you want to make money selling enjoyable video game experiences? look mario kart 8 deluxe sold 1 million or so on switch. and nintendo made some money and brought some enjoyment to people. you got to think that someday somone in that company will realize, hey, there are 60 million ps4's out there if we port this game to ps4, we'd probably sell another what 10 million or so? or as you suggest, if they have another bomb of a system like wii u...meh lets just go out of business?

MS and Nin will lose. They can't successfully compete with Sony and will not make as much profits as they could if they were to use Sony's larger install base. Eventually they will want the money and Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Halo, Gears, Forza will all be playable on PlayStation. Like happened with Sega and Sonic, Virtual Fighter, Shenmue etc...

It would probably take a new entrant in the space to be a viable second option to Sony.

We know the state of xbox division and in another 6 months once the always shrinking nintendo user base have their switch's the sales will begin to level off and decline.

i looked at a gameplay video of knack 2and got turned off. it striked me as a generic kid version of god of war.
