i wouldnt, if a slim comes out it will not be anytime soon, sony would have annpounced something, and they wont release a whole new box for a system 3 months from now, and a slim will have alot of stuff missing from the current ps3s, just get one now and enjoy it sooner

aww man, that sucks ass cus i just finished it on a widescreen hdtv and the graphics r fkn dope, dont play it untill u get a diff tv lol, or u cud just hook up ur ps3 to a standard tv and check if u like the picture better, just be sure to change ur ps3 display settings to 4:3 on a regular tv, its prolly ur monitor that sucks

What do you mean by original ps3?all ps3's on the market are original.conistant

no they are not, the original ones are backward compatable, (being able to play ps2 games and i guess ps1 games (never knew that) )

i realllly dont think that even the original ps3 can play ps1 games, those games are like from 2 generations ago, ur better off just using a ps2 to play them, and play them on a regular tv

ok thanks alot, i actually prefer the black lines on the sides even if its smalled screen, it looks much better in the original form

i think you can change the settings.. they can be played in 4:3 like normal.. or stretched out to fit the screen. they weren't reformatted to fit. bpw8

well im gonna be playing them on a 16:9 widescreen, so does it change the setting automatically, like those black lines on the sides? cus i dont want it stretched out
