[QUOTE="yoyo462001"]yea definetly it makes textures look much much better and more detailed and smoother. if you lagg without it your going to lag alot more with it on.LordEC911

Smooths the edges, no jaggies.
AF makes the distant textures look more detailed and better.

Edit- That P4 at 3ghz is not holding him back.
The x1950pro cannot max out games at 1600x1200.
You should be able to pretty much max out all games at 1280x1024 though, you shouldn't have to go down to 800x600.

What game are you playing?

Rainbow Six: Vegas

*Im overclocking my card right now, so hopefully it wont make me go to 800x600.

[QUOTE="ZeusH8su"]What are your rig's specs? Most games offer different levels of AA/AF so you may try lower settings but having it on does affect you FPS and causes lag.

Ok heres what happens.

I like to play my games at 1600 x 1200 but when I use anti-aliasing 4x/6x it makes the graphix laggy so I have to bring it down to 800x600 to make it less laggy.

Does using anti-aliasing make a difference in graphix.

Should I use anti-aliasing because I see a difference in laggyness when I dont use anti-aliasing.

Is that an all right temp for a card to be at while working?

Why use it for first person shooters? Mouse pwnz it, I use it for racing games, gtr 2 and such on realistic pwning :)Jiggly_Wiggly

GTR2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please dont say that name around me. lol

I cant believe I paid good money for that game.

I cant turn courners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Way to reaslistic for me. You have to stop like 5000 miles away from the turn to be able to take it.
