@thelostscribe: I'd actually think a wider margin. You can actually find XBsS/X on shelves easier than PS5. Granted, that's in my area and may not be true for all areas.
Not much here for me. Pokemon will be a guilty pleasure and Shin Megami is also a bit on my radar. Really can't wait for Endwalker though. Really stoked for that.
@Barighm: I've gone digital, but Game Pass still isn't something that attracts me(neither does PSNow). I still like to own my games, even if I don't get to hold a physical disc. XBGP and PSNow are fine services for those that are into that, but I am not.
@philip6k: Yeah...the last sentence of that part makes no sense in the context of the point of it. Obviously, an individual would need to buy the game for each platform they wish to play on. That is how games have worked since their inception.
It doesn't make sense in any other way, though. If you only plan on playing on a single platform, then buying on multiple doesn't make any sense when it comes to cross-play. Unless they were talking about each friend playing on a different platform?
@valgaav_219: Completely understand having reservations on wanting to pay a sub. XIV is definitely a game that takes a bit of a time commitment, especially with how much story and other content there is to go through, before you hit that "end game", where you can kinda just start concentrating on specific things.
It's funny you bring up ToCS, as I'm currently on a playthrough of ToCS4. A fantastic series. Once I finish up, it's time to finally delve into DQXI.
