Hey this a real question, I have been away from games media for a while, still gaming though. But is Nintendo killing it now or what? Just saw that doom was announced for the switch!? Does that mean they have restored confidence with 3rd party devs as a result of the switch selling well???
@louixiii@sonyboyjim@bluebird08 : You silly Americans, when will you realize that the machine is in motion, has been for decades and the President is just the face of the process in motion. You view every president you elect as terrible and by the end of their respective terms they are reduced to either demons or cartoon characters. But as humans we all need a to point the finger, and why not the figure head.
Here goes Nintendo again milking consumers, selling their toys when they should be investing in a robust online ecosystem where they can preserve their entire catalog.
This is exactly why I never buy games when they are first released. Usually I'll just wait a year and can buy the ultimate/GOY edition with all the DLC for $20-$39. Only event titles such as GTA or Fallout deserve a day 1 purchase, but those only come around once every 4 years.
So 5-6 employees posted positive reviews on Amazon. Who cares? It's not like it was discovered that Harmonix was using software to spew out hundreds of false reviews across multiple websites. This is really a non story.
Well I hope Nintendo has been listening to its fans' complaints but more importantly paying attention to where the industry is going as a whole because if they don't get it right with the NX then Nintendo will be forced to become a 3rd party developer and exit the console market.
