@elunesgraces $500 over 10 years is $50 a year or $100/yr for 5 years for the late adopters. People spend so much more eating out a restaurants and just owning a car is a lot of money.
My two cents: Basic Model = $449, High End Model with move, cam and extra memory = $549, so pretty much what the leaked prices are supposes to be, just that $430 and $530 seem like odd numbers, id obviously prefer those though.
@Dazler1 The network you pay for is not far superior. It's a little better i'll give you that. But that is only b/c MS is software company first, that's what they do, that is their bread and butter. It has nothing to do with it being a paid service.
I feel like the whole point of Sony doing this press conference and announcing the PS4 was to avoid all the "you copied xbox" comments if they announced theirs first. B/c you know all those share features will be implemented on both platforms. I find it hard to believe 3rd part studious would waste resources on social media aspect/sharing if it was not standard across both systems. Anyway none of game demos blew me away, killzone looked like a call of duty game. . ., Another infamous game, really? That knak game looked silly. Diablo 3 ON PS4!, oh wait its on PS3 too, so prob xbox 360 and nextbox aswell. Also that Square demo has been on the net for months now. My point is it was nice to hear the official name, specs, launch window but 2 hours for boring game demos was just not interesting.
@igetpaidto @LukeWesty yeah no one ever points out the fact that xbox uses batteries for their controls . . . . don't forget making you pay extra for that HD-DVD drive
