The witcher is basically an RPG yes. But the dev. team tends to call it action/RPG because of the fighting in the game. They say it is different from FF style but more close to GoW style fighting. I actually have my eyes on the Witcher. And they say it has app. 100 hours of gameplay if you squeeze it right and the decisions you make in-game effects the course of the game. I would like to see that...
Don't think of it only as a gaming console. With this machine you'll also be getting a blu-ray player which is essential if you are into watching movies. Besides that, there are other great games other than exclusives. RE5 is coming in app. 2 weeks time. After that, Heavy rain (exclusive), Uncharted 2 (exclusive), GoW III (exclusive), Infamous (exclusive) those should be enough to decide.
