I had a question about the Best Buy Product Replacement Plan (PRP)? I bought a Halo Edition today with the extended warranty, I told the cashier I wanted the Product Replacement Plan and he said ok. So I paid $60 for it. When I got home I noticed it said on the receipt: PSP #. I'm wondering if I got the Product Service Plan instead of the Replacement Plan? I also noticed on Best Buy's website it says under the Product Replacement Plan that you have to file a claim and send the unit it away and then they will send you a gift card for what paid for it.....instead of just taking it the store and them swapping you out for a new one. I wonder if anybody has had any problems with their Replacement Plan and had to send it away for the giftcardrather than just swap it out at your nearest store, and if so how long did the process take?

I don't think you have to deal directly with Microsoft if you have the Product Replacement Plan. It goes in a effect right away. Otherwise what is the point of have the replacement warranty, if you have to deal with Microsoft after the first 90 days and use Microsoft's warranty by sending it in and getting it fixed or a refirbushed one.

I sold my original 360 because of it scratching discs and giving me the message "Disc unreadable" with my NCAA Football 2008 game. It also sticked a little when opening. I'm either going to buy an XBox Halo Edition or PS3. I know that some of the Halo Editions are suppose to run cooler and might have the falcon chip in them. I was wondering if they improved the Dvd drive in them from the original Xbox 360's?

Thanks!

I just sold my 360 because of it scratching my discs. I want to buy a PS3 and was wondering if all the 60 GB PS3's had the EE chip in them or just the older versions? Somebody told me that the newer 60GB versions don't have it. I was also wondering if anybody has had any problems with the 60 GB version?
