i am 37, married, 2 kids, a firefighter. i am from the atari 2600 generation. i was only about 10 (i guess, dont really remember what age) when i got my atari 2600 and i still remember how cool "combat" "asteroids" and "adventure" were (i still have a 2600). most of those kids that got a 2600 for christmas back then are about my age now. im surprised that everyone my age isnt a gamer. i will never stop, until my health deteriorates to the point where i cant. i can only imagine what games will be like in 20 years.............

i just bought a psp too so i can play at work :)

medal of honor heros 1, because the death match with bots is great for a quick fix if you only got a few minutes and you arent around a wifi spot. more games should have bot death match, at least i wish they would.

hl2 was excellent, i played it first on the pc, i upgraded my pc just for hl2. the episodes are great too. but you young guys are missing out on half-life 1. its too bad they dont make a "better graphics" version of hl1. i would preorder it now if they said it was coming out in a couple years. hl1 was revolutionary. i still remember late nights playing through the single player till all hours in the morning on my pentium 2 350 with 64 megs of ram and a 16 meg voodoo banshee card. i wont even get started on counter strike beta 1 (i would get up early to play a few rounds before i left for work)

i was really disapointed when half life wasnt included in the orange box

few current movies on umd, but thats because (i think anyways) the psp isnt that popular. and that is because (i think anyways) it was too expensive for a long time. now that the price has dropped, and with some exciting add-ons coming (gps, skype), maybe the psp will become more popular. sony did the same thing with the ps3: outpriced it so people couldnt afford it. if mom and dad go to the store to get little jimmy a console and the wii is $400 less then a ps3 which do you think they are gonna buy. it was the same thing with the psp and ds. you would think sony would have learned from their mistake. if more people had a psp then maybe movie companies might have seen it as being a possible good soucre of money to make the movie available on umd

ive read a few articles talking about the upcoming gps add-on. but none of them said what they thought would be the expected price. does anyone know what the price of this is supposed to be? after wanting a psp for so long, when i heard about the gps add-on i had to get one. i love mine :)
