I read that the weapons are not going assigned to different classes in the game, so basically the assault rifle which only given to the soldier in Mass Effect 2, will be open to everyone in Mass Effect 3. What are your thoughts of this improvement.

Makes me happy.
Although, as a Soldier in ME2, you could get a biotic power towards the end. So... If that carries over into ME3 it doesn't matter much to me personally :P
But this improvement is for the best, I think.

Perhaps but she was only a minor character in ME2, I doubt we'll see much of her if anything at all in ME3.

What's the bet Kelly becomes some form of major political figure in ME3? I mean, crazier things have happened... Such as Ashley/Kaidan becoming Spectres. :P

My point is though, the chest piece is the same on both characters. So, either they're from the same soldier company, or Big Ben is James Vega. As was previously disputed. 

I know I sound like a broken record... And the image to the right is pretty crappy detail.
But you cannot deny there is a connection between Big Ben and this potential James Vega...

Look at the armour. More specifically, his shoulders and his chest piece.
