I find plus to be very hit or miss. The worst thing they do is when a new game releases and has no plus discount than a few weeks later they'll discount it. If you have plus its prob best to not buy any psn game, as itll more than likely be cheaper or free within a few months. The collection thing sounded cool at first but now i see half the games will prob never leave and theyll just push that gimmick alot, its better than getting all those lame minis though but It is to each their own, most games I spend more time downloading them than I do actually playing them.
4000 cars seems a bit excessive, 98% of the cars all GT's have had are junk anyways. They should focus more on making the actual racing good instead of adding more cars people wont even drive for a lap.
I havent played MGS4 in some time basically since 08 but with the trophies coming.....Anyways I remember there used to be the little online "store" or w/e where theyd have different camos and ipod tracks. Are these items still available or am I pretty much out of luck without my old orignial saves with those downloads? Would those items even be tied to my game save or would they have been tied to the game data thats stored on the system?
NV had some cool features mainly with the weapons and its more missions which kept in engaging, but I for one disliked the main story of NV, and the space between areas was void of anything really. F3 had a better story where I didnt just feel like an errand boy and the random encounters really added something to the world. In NV you couldnt get those fun battles between 2 enemies cause it just wasnt set up to where you could actually do it, the world of new vegas while vast still managed to seem very isolated.
Id like to see some new DLC but this games done for that. I think to see DLC come out a year and a half later isnt a bad thing it just never happens since most DLC packs are rleased within the 1st year. I would have liked to see a DLC that involved super mutants, all the packs were some form of "human" enemy. Now ill just keep waiting for 4 to come out
I dont care either way, I used to love cheating in games, sometimes its fun to run around without having to worry about ammo and dying. I play games honestly and at times Ill cheat. I use to cheat my butt off on all the past consoles and it didnt hurt me or anyone else. If people wanna cheat in thier single player game im all for it. If everyone ends up with a ton of platinums well that stinks but Im not going to lose sleep over it. Trophies and achievemnets killed the "cheating" that we had in our games and Im glad that game genie is reborn.
Also the writers were way too hung up on the Black Dahlia thing. The homicide segment of the game was seriously tedious. I have other issues with the story, but I won't say anything else as I don't want to spoil it for others. Although I have yet to actually finish the game.worlock77
Totally agree, I was already bored with homicide the 2nd case in, Wouldve liked more variety for homicide. Other than the homicide chapters being a bore and the outcomes being the same no matter how good or bad you do I did like this game alot, Its different and still offers you freedom. Its worth playing and its super cheap now with all the DLC included.
Most games tend to go on sale within a month of release, and max payne is a game id like to play but its not one of those games I really want to play that Id pay the full 60$ for. Very few games are worth that to me cause they are so short. Multiplayer dosent make me buy a game and IDK what modes this game has,im sure they have more then just deathmatch and capture the whatever but if they dont thats disappointing. The reality is though 10 hours is a long time in this day and age if not any day and age outside of your rpg's. Most old school games can be beat in about an hour which makes me wonder why they took forever when i was a kid to finish them, maybe i just had a higher tolerance for dying and starting over 50 times or maybe they are just easier.
Its for people who dont really play games and want a modern day chat room. So its basically good for wannabes who are in high or middle school to act gangsta., or older users to stand around snubbing their noses at otehrs. What home was intended for years ago has been turned into a pathetic program for sony to get your money. Theres alot of games to play on there but most offer you about 5mins of playtime before your bored to tears or they require you to purchase things as "power ups" to make it so you dont suck at their "games" Not to mention homes got technical problems almost weekly. If you want to make friends or try to meet people for gaming the odds arent in your favor, youll more than likely be made fun of or trolled.
Sony is clearly run by morons, blaming the economy can really only apply so far. They've lost money for 4 straight years, alot of it. Their tv division has lost money i think for the past 7 years and the economy was good 7 years ago. Whats sony really offer thats new or innovating? Something that people really want that other companies dont. Just blu ray? They sunk a ton of money into 3D and thats been a fizzler yet they are still commited to pushing it. The gaming is really all they have to be proud of. Now they just stamp their brand name and charge us more for what other brands offer at less. Sonys sorta like apple but without the huge base of loyal consumers or innovative gadgets that people will gladly pay more for the name brand. Games in general suck these days because more people are making games trying to get that video game money, so theyll pump out anything they think people will buy. I can prob count on 1 hand the number of decent, not good but DECENT games that come out in one year. Maybe im picky but who knows? As for games being shipped buggy and as crap well thats cause they can ship the game and make patches months later, if at all. They have to make the deadlines so they can sell their games and hope it raises their stock price before the fiscal quarter ends. The game industry has turned into how the movie industry is, theyll pump out a ton of crap in hopes of getting 1 big hit.
