It's the usual really. Work has been crazy. And there's the fact that while I'm at work I'm not supposed to be playing with other people outside of work. So, I'll be keeping myself away during my breaks. That means only evenings and weekends again guys, but such is life and I understand the policies we have in place are to keep us professional and on task. So, I will be here when I can ok? As for the caption contests that everyone is doing, I will try to submit something when I'm at home but I don't know if I'll catch every round. They are fun though, so I'll pop by when I can. And I haven't blogged since last Thursday! Holy cow! I've been doing a lot of lurking and reading and commenting on somethings but hopefully once I get this newsletter completed, I can comment more on everybody's blogs and stuff. Well it's Monday and it's lunchtime. :D Which is great! But I wish I had brought more meatloaf. Well, I have been a bit silent on the old blog this week and mostly its because of deadlines at work and worrying about people getting their stuff in to me for the new newsletter we will be putting out (read I will be...why do I volunteer for these things? lol). So, after stressing about that and other things and letting it all totally kill my happy mood, I was ready for a break. Was I thinking I would get one? Nope. I was supposed to babysit when I got home. Which isn't a problem because I love my sister's kids but I needed a little quiet time as well so I stopped at the video store and rented the new Charlotte's Web. From what I saw, its a pretty good movie. :D BUT, I also rented The Pursuit of Happiness (haven't watched yet) and Deja Vu. I've been wanting to see those. :D So, I get home to find I don't have to babysit but we are all having a big family dinner so everyone is over except my bro-in-law. So that was cool and I started to cheer up even more. Then I noticed something on the counter. It was the mail! *gasp* Could it be? NCIS Season 3? A whole week before I expected it? YES IT WAS!!!!!!! So now I was really, really happy. We all ate dinner and the kids got baths and then my sister and the kids went home. Isaac and I sat down to settle into Deja Vu. :D:D:D I have to tell you first off that I really think Denzel Washington is a great actor. I can't recall a movie that I've seen him in that I didn't like. But this one was a bit different and yet it was EXCELLENT!!!! I totally recommend this movie to anyone. If you don't like it, you can always yell at me after you watch it, but give it a try. :D And now for the musical part of the blog. Two songs for you, both by KT Oslin. Fantastic singer, IMO and here are two of the songs she sings that I can't get out of my head.
