Fallout 3 was an amazing game. Lots of fun. The "open sandbox" as you say was for me one of its greatest features. Games have always been very linear only a few break the mold and FO3 was awesome in that respect. If the new Fallout follows the same recipe as its previous it will be another smash hit.

the XLC is good. Alot better than the cheap microsoft ones but i just upgraded to the X1 and way superior. awesome. ya a few bux more but do it.

If you get ME1 i guarentee you will not just play main story missions. the game is to damn good and you will be sucked in doing quite a few of the side missions. Awesome game. Get it.

ya it works and its such a pain... i had two guys do it and was horrible. I cant stand why people go out of there way to ruin a game. doesnt matter im sure a patch is on its way.

as alot of the reviews have said and im sure they are right yes you can play ME2 without playing the first the only thing is the small references and even some of the more notible parts of the game will have no meaning to you but will strike a chord with others. I say go and play ME1 you will not be disapointed and well worth it.

first time through just trial and error. you will get it. not to bad. you do those trials a handful of times nothing to bad.

i just beat fallout 3 for first time the other week. i had 2 freezes i think. so its not horrible. awesome game. took me an hr to get into it and after that couldnt put it down.
