I get tired of people (mostly who haven't even played Wii or just one game for 30 minutes) criticizing Wii and saying it's support will be just like Gamecubes.
Wii already has double or triple the number of "big" 3rd party games that Gamecube saw in its first two years.
How many games to big time developers have to announce in order for people to realize that Nintendo's gaining momentum?
Today - Rygar, Tecmo Bowl (maybe)
2 days ago - Soul Calibut Legends
Ghost Squad
Chocobo's Dungeon
FF Crystal Chronicles
Past couple months:
Dewey
RE4 Wii Edition
RE : Umbrella Chronicles
EA's Playground
Nights: Journey of Dreams
MySims
Boogie
Scarface
DDR Hottest Party
Mercury Meltdown Revolution (budget)
Nearly all these titles will come out this year, many this summer. AND, that doesn't even include Nintendo's first party titles.
Also note that every one of these games is exclusive or a special edition enhanced with motion control and added features.
In addition, there are about a dozen launch window games that aren't polished to perfection and may have been reviewed a little overly harsh, but are definitely worth considering buying:
Tiger Woods 2007
Godfather: Blackhand Edition
SSX Blur
Sonic SR
Red Steel
Rayman RR
Elebits
Trauma Center
etc.
So don't say Wii doesn't have 3rd party support, it has a lot of exclusives and it's getting more every day, the worst you can say is that you'd rather have Halo.
