So you're saying Red Steel, Rayman, Monkeyball, Elebits, Madden, and now Sonic and soon SSX Blur is bad selection, not to mention the fun games that are deemed utter excrement by snobby fanboys and GS reviews....???

I got Red Steel and I like it. It got a 5.5 but it is still a good game.

Red Steel, I rented it and beat it. It's very fun, although it takes a while to learn the controls, it's very satisfying when you do. I also rented Call of Duty 3, it's fun too, but I didn't play it as much because I was busy at the time.

I just played sonic and the secret rings and it doesn't look like any of those games. It's also the most fun you could have playing a sonic game.

Tiger Woods looks really awful. But I'll still buy it any way because with the Wii you don't need HD graphics to have fun with a golf game.

It's actually quite good, that's a horrible screenshot.

when was the last good console C&C game? never? oh... Seriously, C&C3 NEEDS to stay on the PC. (Unless the Wii really proves itself)

Well they can make a red alert game for the wii because Wiimote controls for me seems great for a RTS game. And I aint talking about C&C3 because Wii cant handle those graphics.

The WarLords developers confirmed their making one for Wii.

I don't see Wii being as big as a success as the DS but I think because of its cheap price it will sell well to non gamers...

I still think about 35 million will be sold in the end, which is a pretty good effort in my view.

[QUOTE="Nike_Air"]They are reaching out , but they are just not reaching out to us. The are pimping the Wii-whatever-line for the casuals to win it.

SkateGame
Yeah, so far, the Wii is the casual gamer's console. The only good game for gamers is Zelda, which is a port. The party games are lots of fun with friends and family though. But still, it's casual gamers that create the hype. If a gamer starts hyping something, they're just seen as a overly geeky nerd.

Much more than Zelda for hardcore gamers, my friend...

Only one new IP? Forever Blue? Disaster? Excite Truck? Wii Sports? HAMMER? Last Gen Pikmin, Animal Crossing? The number of franchises is going way up, in addition to the traditional ones.

You have valid points, but are being kind of picky for such an old game. They had more system constraints with the world and stuff. It is easier, because it was the first 3D experience of its kind, and they want to appeal to a wide audience.
I'l probably get flamed for this...but I like Windwaker better...there I've said it :PPullTheTricker
