[QUOTE="canary7"][QUOTE="kelliemonster"]Hi everyone! I'm looking for an easy, light, and fun rpg-ish game that I can play while I'm at my last semester of college. Super involved games tend to get left in the dust while I'm at school, so I need something fairly simple, but still lots of fun. I'm debating between Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. Which is better? Or should I go with something else alltogether?kelliemonster

I hear nothing but great things about Chrono Trigger. I think you should pass up the other two.

Oh I definitely plan on getting Chrono Trigger (especially since I never played it the first time around), but I think I want to wait to get that after I graduate so I have time to devote to it. When I'm at school, sometimes I'll get so overloaded with work that I have to put down the DS for weeks at a time, so I'm looking for something that will be easy to do that, but still be fun.

Okay, well I know this is a point-and-click puzzle game and you go to school, so you may not be interested. LOL. But I highly recommend "Professor Layton And The Curious Village". It is so much fun! The puzzles are brilliant! And you can go at your own pace!

Which begs the question: why did you waste ten seconds of your life typing that, and one minute of it actually paying attention to this thread?

its incredibly common on gamespot/faqs. hating on good games is almost a hobby for some.

He's not hating, he's just indifferent.;)

1. Don't smash teh screen. 2. Maybe you don't need the screen, Some puzzles require the mic. Have you tried it?Me2nice

[QUOTE="Minishdriveby"][QUOTE="canary7"][QUOTE="Minishdriveby"] Play Prime on the gamecube you might get lost easily but it's easily the best game on the GameCube. Oh and it's an actual Metroid games with actual metroids (something hunters was lacking).

I don't have a GameCube and can't afford one.

35 dollars for a gamecube + Prime?

No. I don't have a job yet. But that is a really good deal.

[QUOTE="Minishdriveby"][QUOTE="canary7"][QUOTE="Englando_IV"] Have you played Prime? Hunters is a fun multiplayer game, but judging the Metroid series with it is a bad idea. It pales in comparison.

No. I have only played the two I listed.

[QUOTE="Englando_IV"][QUOTE="canary7"]I didn't like the controls on "Metroid Prime Hunters". They're terrible. I have "Metroid Fusion" and it was okay...I still haven't beaten it yet and I have had for a long time. I'm not a Metroid fan.

I've bought plenty of used GBA games, and one or two used DS games. But for the most part I buy new. I know it would probably make more sense to buy used, but....I dunno. I guess I just like the feel of a new game.bluej33

So do I.
