[QUOTE="guyhunter"]Progressive > Interlaced ALWAYS!TimothyB

How can you say that? There are too many variables. Not like one tv does both 720p and 1080i, so usually the best resolution to use is the one native to the tv. A 1080i tv, use 1080i and so on and 1080i would look great because to your human eye you think you are seeing a full 1080p image. Then a 1080p TV, giving that 1080i from say a Blu-ray will actually result in 1080p because 1080i60 is the same as 1080p at 30fps.

All the 1080p tv needs to do is inverse teceline to convert that 1080i back to progressive. In that case, 1080i is basically1080p, obviously better than 720p. Progressive is not always better than Interlaced unless comparing the same resolution, like 1080i60 vs 1080p60. And like the other poster, higher res > low res works better.

Even the PS3 to do 1080p playback from blu-ray must first convert 1080p24 off the disc to 1080i60 then to 1080p60, so it's actually 1080i at one point in the process.  Thats the way it works except in cases of players that output 1080p24 straight from the disc.

Thanks for the information I thought I wasn't going to get the best out of my t.v. because it only could go up to 1080i this was really helpfil thank you again.

[QUOTE="captainhowdy23"][QUOTE="odin2019"]

Somehow I just don't think it will. From what I've heard based on what they have added to the game it sounds kinda interesting but its just not really what I want. I would like there to be more different types of customizations for the characters, bigger environments to fight in with destructible items, More new characters, Blood included in the game, and of course some type of online play would be cool. For new characters they have added about 2 I think which is great and all but I was thinking they would add about 5 or 6 new characters, so yeah I kinda disappointed about that. Some of these reasons are why I'm not going to buy VF5 but the main reason I'm not going to get VF5 is because the fighting style is just not arcade enough.

Tekken 6 may be able to match Tekken 5 in alot of areas but it won't include as many things to the game as Tekken 5 did from Tekken 4. In my opinion Tekken 5 is the best fighting game I've played since Marvel vs Capcom 2. Tekken 5 is my favorite 3d fighter and based on what I've heard about Tekken 6 it just doesn't sound like I would put the game above Tekken 5 as for what I was getting my moneys worth.

Tekken 6 will have more than 2 new characters, deeper customization, biggest stages ever, and alot more http://sdtekken.com/tekken-6/ here. This will be the best fighting game ever, I don't know about online play and real blood that dosen't sound like Tekken at all, if you want that go to Mortal Kombat my friend, Tekken never dissapoints (except 4) so everything will be ok.

I already read the news from that link and it doesn't saying about there being more than 2 new characters and I also the news from that link didn't really impress me a whole lot.

Towards the very bottum of the link it does say there are more new characters on the way but whatever the hell that means.  That could the 2 new characters we have already heard about and thats it or could mean really good news and be more new characters on the way besides the two already listed.

Read all the way down it says more new characters on the way!! just keep scrolling down :) . I know how you feel but they trailer we saw was a work in progress video man, and it wasn't even in HD and there redoing animations and the video we saw had old animations. Also there was a new character announced in an arcade magazine in Japan I know it's a guy, but I don't remember his name, other than that they haven't said anything else so we are just going to have to wait, I trust them they'll do it.

All I wanna know is which Imitator will be In T6, Mokujin, Combot, or another?T-Zone
Betting Mokujin because they said they wanted to keep all the characters from Tekken 5. I wish Heihachi had a redesigned :(, but he's still my favorite.

[QUOTE="FFVII_Madness55"]The game beats any other ones, graphically though not FFXIII of course. But I think this game needs more hype.makingmusic476

Well, it doesn't look quite as good as the KZ2 trailer. :P

Man, if KZ does look as good as that trailer... :shock:

It's games like Wardevil, Lair, etc. that make me feel that Killzone is indeed possible.

Oh yeah we will all know, at this year's E3 can't wait :D.
