I use a logitech USB headset and I'm happy with it. It was like 40$ at best buy.
The best part about it is the fact that I just unplug it and my external speakers come back on.
CoD4 got an amazing review on IGN. I wasn't planning on picking it up based on the SP demo. But the MP looks really good. My dilemma is the fact that I have a crap ton of *fun* playing TF2 still.
What do you think?
I just got done with the demo, and don''t get me wrong, it was good. But it didn't totaly amaze me (gameplay wise) The graphics were amazing, and the physics, but the suit didn't seem as useful as I thought it would be. It was like far Cry instincts, except for I needed to switch in between and ran out of the suits battery (or whatever it is) very quickly. It also took alot of bullets to kill one guy.... I liked it, but expected more.ndrliang2
I went into it trying to ignore the massive amounts of hype it generates. I thought it was really good. I threw a grenade into one of those shacks with 4 guys in it and half the shack collapsed on them.. I thought that was pretty cool and I don't really see much stuff like that in games.
Overall my first run through I though it was pretty easy cause I played horribly and still didn't die at all on normal. If you can get past the performance the issues I think its really good. It may not live up to the hype its probably the biggest hyped game coming onto PC in the last few years.
No, I just figured that the only way they would get a performance increase would be less rendering range. I don't get why the "Gold" version would have better performance considering the demo was release only 2 days later. I only see this as propaganda unless theres some hard proof in that article.Swiftstrike5
If you notice the date on the program when you launch the demo is says its a build from october 18th not the 26th or 27th whenever it was released so crytek had a few more weeks before it went gold.
