ok i want to get oblivion it looks amazing and really want to get it but i saw this vid on youtube where a guy was playing it with max graphics and it crashed everything was rainbow colours with mini images of things on them and it broke his 360 is this a qusual thing or just rare should i get the game or not.......
i would go for morrowind first then once completed get fable if u get morrowind u should deffinetly get game of the year edition because the bloodmoon expansion is amazing becuase the morrowind main area is swampy looking while solthsiem is nice and snowy....u get to be a werewolf!!!!!!!!.....................................!!!!!!!!!..!

I don't really think you should buy Oblivion with that PC. Oblivion is both GPU and CPU dependent (see links). Although it's probably possible to play the game with mods, why would you want to? I think you'll have a much better time playing Morrowind, which is still an excellent RPG to this day.
i have played morrowind completed it and the other 2 expansion packs was fun but got bored with it really because of travel had to walk everywhere apart from the siltstrider things i am going to get fable i checked the can you run it site it will work.
emm guy with the blue bird pic just saw message about what proccecer i had and how much ram i have intel celeron m 1.73ghz 1gb of ram the game is oblivion i have intel graphics card but i know it will work if i use the oldblivion mod wich turns down the graphics i am the guy who asked if a 1.73ghz laptop would run a 2.0ghz game.

I had the same problem... I installed it on my laptop by curiosity and I was able to play the beginning with ok frame rate, but after going outside, it really started to be unplayable... I had an intel graphic card, so if yours is better, you might have a better chance...
i would have to use the oldblivion mod though i have an intel graphics card the oldblivion turns downgraphics with different shaders while keeping it looking nice but it might still be unplayable.
