Wasn't real jazzed with the outline either, at least it seems limited to buddy and maybe enemy in buddies line of sight. Thought it seemed much worse on general multiplayer game com trailer. Noticed spec op vision icon on left corner of screen in that one and it seemed like more people on screen where outlined! They look like paper cutouts, pasted on the screen!

Pretty happy with my PS3! Not looking forward to dropping several hundreds of dollars on something that will make my old system obsolete. I don't think a new console will solve your lack of excitement. We just need more games with something new going on. Twisted Metal for example has been so long in coming it feels like something different. Not a ton of car combat games out there

I'm looking for some surround sound headphones for the PS3. You can get turtlebeach ones for the 360 but they dont make them for PS3 (idiots!)

Does anyone have a decent set or can recomend one? Has to be SS and not stereo though.

Just got astro A30 sound system and really happy with it. A30 system on sale on(headset and mix amp) on Astro's website(Mix Amp critical to take advantage of best surround.) Was using px 21 with earforce DSS also worked well. My understanding is that even using optical connection PS3 only supports up to 5.1 so even though headphones support 7.1 the PS3 doesn't get full use from them. Any self proclaimed experts..... am I wrong about the 5.1 thing?

Astounding game and its about time! I've always wonder why they never made a sequel sooner...but amazon link is for pc not ps3
