the original xbox braught us alot of great inovations. Hd gaming (very few 720p games, and some 1080i games) dolby digital, a standard hard drive, and real console online, custom soundtracks.
I've gone through about half of kz2 and the graphics are way over rated. uncharted has better graphics. not to mention the controls on kz2 suck. When I would watch the kz2 videos I used to wonder why don't they zoom in to get more accurate shots, now I know.

Are you in denial or something? Not only cant you accept the fact it looks loads better than gears 2 but you put it at the bottom of your graphics list...this is why people dont like to talk about graphics with lemmings, because in your minds gears 1 was graphics king until gears 2 came out, and gears 2 will be graphics king until the next gears comes out. the textures are ugly. you run mostly through badly lit hallways and there's a ton of invisible walls.
That's because it's First-Person. If it was a TPS, It might've been on the same graphical quality as Gears, maybe the suberp shading would remain, but nothing else.

pd0 is a first person shooter and has great textures, the rest of the game is average at best(pd0)
The controls...? Just about every shooter on consoles play the same. I gotta :lol: @ your jab at KZ2 though. Game has some amazing textures, especially compared to COD4. And COD4 hasn't aged well at all next to KZ2. inertk
the controls are laggy, they're laggy on geow2 also. On cod4 you have more accuracy with the controls. that's why you see alot of snipers on multiplayer of cod4. i don't like the controls on geow2 or kz2. the graphics on cod4 are awesome. and run at 60fps.
I think cod4 is graphically awesome, It has some lo res textures (just like kz2) but it runs at 60fps, and the controlls murder most fps. (on consoles)
