I still play my 2DS alongside my PSP to this day.
I just like handheld systems and tend to play them more then my consoles.

Microsoft is keeping 3DO and Trip Hawkins' dream alive.....
A unified game market with one standard...
It amazes me that anyone would agree to debate Trump without the pre-condition that the mic will be muted and the exchange heavily regimented. Trump’s strategy isn’t using facts. He bullies, attempting to make the other appear weak and like a pushover. It’s show, not substance. Take his ability to impose and intimidate away and force him to address the actual content, and he’s nullified.
Dems lost this before it even began, I only hope Biden’s lead in the polls can endure.
I'm not really sure Trump has the advantage here. All I see are two old men yelling at each other. This is kinda sad to watch.
Biden is holding his own, and gotten some good points in.
I'm watching this and my main reaction is fear and sadness that our only choices to be the President of the United States and leader of the free world is one of these two old men.
Biden is doing well, but he's clearly trying to keep himself from falling apart and Trump is a massive bully who is trying to talk over everyone.
I can't say I'm very confident about voting for either man. The way this debate is going, I might just stay at home on November 3rd.
Not a confirmation, but don't be surprised if it is exclusive, or at least a timed exclusive. I give it a 50/50 chance.
It's early enough in the development cycle it might not have been locked in for PlayStation, which means Microsoft could still grab it. It all depend on how much work has already been put in the PlayStation version, and how willing Microsoft to mandate pausing or throwing away that work.
My guess is that Microsoft holds onto the PS5 version of Starfield for a year or two while they promote it as an exclusive for the Xbox Series Hardware or PC.
By the time the PS5 gets the game, it will be old news and Microsoft might already show off Elder Scrolls VI or Fallout 5(or New Vegas 2) which means any hype is pretty much gone.
Just because Microsoft puts it on the PS5 does not mean it has to come out the same day as the Xbox version. Microsoft can hold onto the PS5 version to push the Xbox version and force people to either buy that system or a PC unless they want to wait a few years to play Starfield.
They need better exclusives. Halo and gears aren't good enough.
Which is why they need to keep Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 6(or New Vegas 2), Doom, and other Bethesda franchises all to themselves.
Force people to either buy an Xbox Series S/X or a Windows PC to play those game.
More importantly, they need to take advantage of the fact that they are sitting on top of some major gaming IPs that can used to help move hardware.
They own Rare's, Id's, and Bethesda's entire libary as well as their own franchises.
If they can take advantage of this, they could have a very strong first-party lineup. The problem is, they have never invested much in first-party and stuck to the trio of Halo, Gears, and Forza with a rare one-off 1st party title tossed in.
Now is the time to bank on the gaming franchises they own and cash in.
I'm playing Ninja Gaiden Black on my Xbox One S right now, and it looks damn good with clean and crisp visuals that also runs faster than it ever did on the Xbox or 360. To put it another way, it's comparable to how Super Mario Sunshine looks in the 3D-All Stars Collection and I did not have to pay anything for the enhancements since I bought the disc years ago.
So, if an old Xbox game can be enhanced by the Xbox One and run even better then on its native hardware, then I would assume BC is gonna be even better on the Xbox Series hardware which is even more powerful.
BC is not something anyone should ignore or say is a useless feature. Right now, the Xbox is the only platform that will offer BC across all four gens once the Xbox Series hardware drops.
Keep in mind that many casual games(people who aren't console fanboys) are likely still on the fence as to which next-gen console to buy. These are the gamers who are going to stick with the PS4 or Xbox One for another couple of years and see what games land of each system.
Right now, the PS5 has an early advantage because Sony has played most of their hand. People know that Final Fantasy XVI is going to be exclusive, they have shown off most of their major first-party IPs like God of War, Gran Turismo, Spider-Man, Ratchet, and Clank, etc. This also includes the two exclusive Bethesda games for the platform that was in development before Microsoft bought them out.
Right now, Microsoft has nothing to show from their purchase of Bethesda, and many PS5 owners also share the mindset that Microsoft is going to put games like Elder Scrolls VI on the PS5 to make the most profit off the game.
It's a common argument I've seen here and across the net. So, many people who are looking at the next-gen platforms are still going to buy a PS5 since they have the idea that Microsoft is not going to make Elder Scrolls VI exclusive to the Xbox Series hardware, and they have nothing to lose by investing in that system. After all, Minecraft is owned by Microsoft and its published on both Sony and Nintendo hardware, and Microsoft has a history of sharing IPs and content like Cuphead and Banjo(for Smash Ultimate) with their hardware rivals.
So, you likely won't see the Bethesda purchase move the needle in the Xbox's favor until Microsoft has some games to show off. But here's the thing. The day Microsoft announces that Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 6(or New Vegas 2), Starfield, or the next Doom are exclusive to the Xbox Series hardware and PC, then we will see a spike for the Xbox and its sales.
Right now, many PS5 owners are clinging to hope that Bethesda's games will still arrive on the system, and they won't have to choose if they are fans of Elder Scrolls, Fallout, or other Bethesda games.
Maybe they will be right. But is Microsoft refuses to share their new toys and forces you to buy either a PC or Xbox(both of which are platforms Microsoft owns) then I would not be shocked to see Xbox sales get a major boost from fans of those games who need to play those game?
Because as much as some fanboys want to deny it, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and even Doom are still games that sell millions of units per game and have a loyal fanbase. They will be system sellers no matter what.
Playstation and Nintendo fanboys are hoping Microsoft plays nice and shares their new toys so they don't have to buy an Xbox. But here's one thing to remember, while Microsoft has shared some of their toys like Cuphead and allowed Banjo to fight Mario in Smash Bros, they are keeping their shiny toys like Halo, Gears of War, and Forza all to themselves. They aren't even sharing stuff like Killer Instinct or Battletoads.
So, I would not hold out hope that Elder Scrolls VI will be on anything besides a PC or the Xbox Series hardware. Want to play it? Well, you'll need to own either Windows 10 or Xbox to play it. Either way, I don't see Microsoft sharing Elder Scrolls VI with the PS5 or Switch anytime soon.
@narlymech: Even Nintendo has dropped duds from time to time.
Yeah, Fallout 76 sucked but it's one game and someone could even argue it's more of a spin-off to the main line single player Fallout games.
Elder Scrolls VI or Starfield are likely gonna be better received
Sony we want Capcom for this.
Now I can't play the new fallout's...sony has to make this up to me. Make Xbox pay let em wish they had Capcom. Show Xbox who owns Japan.
Out of all the companies you could have picked, and you go with Capcom? Losing Capcom games might hurt Microsoft, but I'm willing to bet the Xbox userbase buys fewer Capcom games then Sony or Nintendo does.
Street Fighter V was not even on the Xbox One this gen, and did it really hurt Microsoft? No, because other fighting games still came out on Xbox and were more successful.
Yeah, it will suck for people like me who want to play Resident Evil VIII on the new Xbox, but you're not going to match Microsoft's deal with Bethesda with Capcom.
The funny thing is that you'll cause more damage to Nintendo if Sony buys Capcom then you ever would with Microsoft.
EA or Activision are who Sony should be going after, but I think those two are way out of their price range.
