There are a lot of good topics out there, but the REALLY funny ones get deleted. It sort of structures what humor is supposed to be and marginalizes the rest as spam and/or disruptive posting. Maybe i just have a different sense of humor.

Can't we have both? :(GabuEx
Sure, but the results of this poll so far suggest something different than what i'm seeing out there in the old OT.
This might be due to the fact that many great posts have been made that have been deleted to inadvertently support option 1.
Sometimes I get into a fun arguement. Sometimes I just reply to random posts tho.xboxplayer1990
That's one way of looking at it, but trolling seems kind of redundant in a forum titled off-topic. Excuse me if i interpreted "fun arguement" in the wrong way.
I rarely come here, but i'm option 2. That's what i interpret "off-topic" to be. Apparently song lyrics are considered spam over..."You god damn socialists are ruining MY country!" Oh yeah, that's a rational way to have a conversation. >_> I always notice that sometimes people become so engrained with the status quo that it even shows on net forums. Tell me what you think, and you mods out there i'd like to know your opinions as well.
I don't know what tax breaks they'll be getting considering most people don't pay federal income tax. We really need to rake in more taxes right now with deficit soaring out of control, and the way to do it is rasing the rates on the rich. Another thing we can do is transfer the debt to the treasury and start treating this money like it's in the public's hands instead of some private bank. Why in the hell does the great US of A have to pay interest for?
Here is a link for the conservatives out there, especially the ones that acknowledge the fed yet somehow manage to forget that it's a private bank.
1. I sell clove cigarettes to teenagers who think it's something else.
2. Every once in a while i like to go for a drive at night, pull into a random person's driveway and honk my horn for 2 minutes.
3. I'm the muffin man.
If i had any capacity to feel anything about the situation then i'd feel disappointed. Not because i have too many goals for the future but simply for the fact that my fight against non-existance is over. I am one of the few that i know that would prefer immortality to a relaxing, worry-free death. Even if the planet i live on has a short life span and there is no means to travel away. I would still rather drift through the universe alone than die. Maybe i'll find another planet to live on and get mamed by bat-mantises.
