Actually it doesn't work because it does make sense. I'm surprised that some people haven't noticed this trend yet.

I fit that description except for the fact i did have a girl with me all the time. I don't hate people for frivilous reasons such as what kind of clothes they wear. this question was already answered in another thread. no they are not preppy preppy clothes are clothes traditionally worn by students in prep school. ex: Ralph, Lacosta, extNYiVtec

Terms evolve all the time, especially slang. Take for instance the fact that most people nowadays probably wouldn't call you an arse. It's best not to get stuck in just one cultural decade for referrence.
