I reading about this kind of error like 2 hours aga. Going back to the first post on this issue. I found this had happen last yeat on the same day. But not to the mass.

I can sync back yours game trophy once get back online. Hopefully the servers got them for you. I hadn't played any games on it yet since i notice i couldnt get online so my trophy are there. Reset my time and date manually. Just turn it off for now. Themes are gone, the one I paid for. First notice that when my ps3 boot up and theme wasnt showing up. then trying get online to the store and no good. Themes are missing. I tried changing the network settings to wireless and nothing happens. After that I was piss worried. Check online on sony website and enter the error number. I was like I aint sending it back I could fix it myself just give me the knowledge to do it cheaper. What a world. I dont feel like getting rip off. u know. I went on Dogpile and search up the problems Im having.. Gamespot was on the list. lol. click on it. Now aware this is common. wtf. Im glad and hope I ain't sending it back to get it fix now. Because i ain't.
My PSP still work great lol. Still conneted to the network and no problrms. Everything else works. My guess is Sony really mess up on this one. Bad. I hope they lose and lose. Time to cut wire off to sony. Good bye!!!
mmm wow. This is mess up. If it never work again I'll never buy another sony porduct again. Beside Im starting to think games are waste of money and time. ha.

Hey Im having the same problem with my PS3. Error 8001050F. Two of my themes are correpted and I can't log in anymore. Plus I notice the time and date is wrong too. Reset back to 1999. I see alot ps3 users having problems today. What is going on? Virus? Now I can't download movies on it anymore.
