Being a Catholic as you have stated, I assume you are aware that Christians do not and cannot "convert" anyone. Only the Lord can deal with a person and change that person's heart and draw them to Him.

The Lord commanded His sheep to share the Gospel.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

He aso told us...

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

In my service to the Lord, I am obedient to Him.

Gal 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

I hope that explains it.

Then what are you trying to do >.>

To live my life in obedience to the Lord and do as He has commanded and called me to do.

Ever considered being a priest perhaps? Not on gamestop though.

Since Grade 7 I have a piece of lead under my skin because my teacher accidently stabbed me with a pencil. Does it come out eventually? Cause I'm 16 now and I can see it through my skin. :?

[QUOTE="blackregiment"]

Did you miss the part where I said that God gave us a free will to choose to believe o not to believe? Personally, I think that people should do the research themselves. Problem is, most choose not to do that. God's Word explains why that is.

I also find it interesting however, that many non-believers spend so much time arguing against something they do not believe is "existent, true, or logical." It is as if in doing so, they can "convince" themselves.

God's Word tells us that He has sufficiently revealed Himself in His creation, in His Word., in the person of Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives, so that those that choose to seek him with all of their hearts, will find Him.

Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Jer 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

He deals with each of us individually. Our God is not a passive God. He gives us a free will to open our hearts to Him or to reject Him but that does not mean that He will not confront us in His love. Ultimately we can accept His mercy and grace or reject it but He will, for a season, confront us in His love for us and deal with each of us in our hearts. He is persistent in pressing us to come to a decision, one way or another.

Have you ever considered that He may be pressing you?

[QUOTE="Teenaged"]Where you say "The Lord has told us..." another person will think "oh this dude thinks some lord has talked to him through a book or whatever", just as you hearing the phrase "scientists agree that...." might think "oh ok that dude believes everything the scientists tell him".blackregiment

And that is their free will choice. Only the Lord can change one's heart, and only when one seeks Him in spirit and in truth.

You should put some effort in relating to the people you talk to and see where they are coming from rather than having redundant repetitions of statements of faith which hold no value to a discussion where one of the two participants dont hold them as a valid "possible world".Teenaged

I share my beliefs as the Lord has called me to do. I respect the free will choice of others to hold whatever beliefs they choose, as does the Lord. That is the true definition of tolerance. Tolerance does not compel one to "accept all beliefs as equally valid". Tolerance also does not mean that Christians must suppress the expression of their beliefs or "adjust" and "conform" their beliefs to the demands of the world. Just as non-believers are free to share their beliefs and people of other faiths are free to share their beliefs, Christians are as well.

My Lord, my Savior, my Master, Jesus Christ certainly did not "adjust" or "conform" His beliefs to the world. He made very bold claims about who He was, why He came, what He expected, and what the price He would ultimately pay for us that we may have eternal fellowship with Him. In love, He willingly paid that price, and offers the fruit of His finished work on the cross to all that choose to accept Him. Each of us must decide how we will deal with that offer of eternal fellowship with Him.

I do not believe that there are "multiple truths" or that we determine truth. I do not believe that truth is relative. I believe that there is only one truth and each of us must search for that truth ourselves. I believe that it is of eternal importance that we find that truth and that we conform our beliefs to that truth.

As I said, the Lord, for a season, actively confronts each of us with His truth. He is not a passive God. He will not force us to accept Him, but in His dealings with each of us, He is persistent in His demand that we make a choice. He will not leave us alone, He will not accept our procrastination and non-decision until He is certain that we have finally made the choice to accept Him or have reject Him. How and when we deal with that is our choice is up to us. When He is finished dealing with us, when we have made our final choice, we enter into either eternal fellowship with Him, or eternal separation from Him.

Christians that have accepted God's grace and mercy in Christ, are used by the Lord, in service to Him, in working His will on earth. Have you ever considered that we "pesky" Christians just might be "instruments" that God s using in dealing with those that have not accepted Him as He deals with them individually?

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

No one is "forcing" you or anyone else to believe what we believe and profess. We do not have that "power" or divine ability. Only the Lord can change a person's heart as He deals with them in love, ever persistent in his call for a decision.

I'm pretty Catholic in my belief sir but I'm asking, what the heck are you doing on a video gaming website? To convert people? Do you even play video games?

I think I'm going to preorder Red Dead Redemption although I can't choose between the war horse or the assassin suit. If any of you are preordering, let me know what you're getting.

Everyone here has commited at least one intentional teamkill 8) you know it's true. I had a recent one in squad rush in BFBC2 where my squad was composed of 3 snipers camping in one building. I got so fed up that I started firing at the bottom walls of the building with my Gustav. Not long after the building started crumbling down. Only one of the snipers was clever enough to jump out of the window.

Of course I wouldn't of done this if we were winning but we were in dead last place.
