This just sounds like a waste. It has already been remade for the gamecube. It was called Twin Snakes. How about doing the original metal gear from the NES, before solid was added to the title. Most metal gear fans never play the original.

I voted Sony, but I will admit that the XB1 had better exclusives. I won't purchase the XB1... Well maybe if they just drop that connect every 24 hrs crap. The Wii U will be the second console that doesn't interest me from the big N.

Hell no! The used game policy doesn't bother me much, but the connect every 24 hours is a deal breaker.

The reason I ask is because as of now no one is sure what sony plans are on the subject. It is clear that no gamer is thrilled with the route that M$ plans to take. If Sony decides to follow MS would gamers be strong enough to not purchase a PS4 or X1. All this complaining is useless if gamers don't speak with their wallets. On another note shouldn't the games be cheaper when you take away the trade or trade in factor. I always thought this was the reason for PC games being cheaper than their console versions.

Do you mean wasted first 6 months, then yes, it has been awful, but I have hope there will be some great releases come the end of they year, if not Wii U is doomed.layton2012
There is only lego city and pikmin 3 until Sep.19, 2013. So yeah they wasted a whole year.

It's been 6 months since it released...

In what alternate world does 6 months = 1 year? :|

Seriously, can we stop with the stupidity. In December, maybe you can say this. Until then, it just sounds stupid.

There's no doubt the Wii U is underperforming but, damn, even the PS3 was given at least a year.

Puckhog04
It is wasted because those top tier games won't be released until the end of the year. Hell, some might not release until next year and then what? With third party jumping ship and taking their AAA titles to competing platforms the rest of 2013 continues to look bleak for the big N. We just won't know how bad until after E3.

[QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"]Every single console has a dead period right after launch. Name me one that didn't. Even the holy PS2 had one. You expect developers to poop out games every week? No. They take 2 years on average to develop. The Wii U will done fine in the long run.

Not without third party support.
