Don,t get me wrong i love shooters as much as the next man, but untill now the 360 catalogue seems to have lacked variety in terms of different types of gameplay experience. I remember playing Tomb Raider Legend and more recently Anniversary POP series on my PS2 with my girlfriend and sharing the fun together (ahh!) even Chronicles of Riddick on the original xbox and the games like Odd world the strangers Odyssey. What i'm really trying to say is i can't wait for Fable 2, Tomb raider Underworld so I can put in even more hours gaming as the missus doesn't really get off killing tango's, Locusts, etc With the power of our lovely new console developers can really let there imagination go to town and create some fantastically detailed and beautiful worlds for us to explore. No disrespect to Oblivion, Mass Effect et al which look great to me but my fair lady can't be bothered with menu's, inventories and all that she just wants a good story and lots of action. Can't wait for Fable 2, TR underworld, RE5, Silent Hill Homecoming the future for adventure looks good and for TMF (UK MTV Channel that she make me watch all the time LOL) it looks bad.

If you like shooters both Halo 3 and Rainbow 6 Vegas have splitscreen coop. You can play the whole story coop on both i prefer the gunplay in Rainbow 6, really awesome firefights great A.I. I like Halo 3 the graphics are great but i find the sound a little weak, you can't really here trhe Battle rifle properly and in a shooter you want your weapon to feel powerful! havn't play GRAW 2 but have GRAW and splitscreen has bad first person view (no view of your gun at all just cross hair, feels weird) and you can't play whole campaign. Look out for Fable 2 local coop play on one screen sure to be great!

Thanks guess i'll just have to wait untill i can buy one. I heard that alot of XBox emulations don't run too well on 360 anyway, might just by XBox instead, but i think my girlfriend will go mad LOL

I have arcade console with 256mb memory unit, just about everyone says you need HD to play original XBox games is this true? Or is it possible to download update over net and burn to CD and update my 360 that way? I would love to play Doom 3, Fable etc but can't afford HD right now.

Definitely get it! i'm almost finished playing through it, found the atmosphere incredible and the production values are really high. When i borrowed it from a friend at Christmas i a bit put off by the clumsy run control (u have to click analogue stick in whilst holding forward) and the stamina bar, but upon playing more of the story it's so good i forgot about this. Melee combat is amazing and the gunplay is better than most people say.

Interesting thing about response times, i've got both types wired and wireless. Just got wired one cos it was cheaper and saves me buying batts all the time. Wired one is definatley cool though, just somehing about sitting wherever u like and not being limited by the cable.

Yes get it, cheap thrills abound. Like it's producers it's an epic game with good length campaign, v cinematic and great graphics, awesome split screen action too adds to replay value. My only critisms are; gun play feels a little disconnected, guns don't really pack much of a punch and ememies i.e. locust are a bit generic.

Wish list includes;

GTA 4 (i know, why not already?)

Alone in the Dark

The Darkness (Iknow it's old but it's really cheap and looks like amazing story combined with solid gunplay)

Thinking about Oblivion but might get Fable 2 instead as it looks more fun and I get bored with collecting everything and managing bloody inventory all the time.

Further in future looking out for Brothers in arms Hells highway (xbox versions rocked) and new Tomb Raider so I can play it with the missus (Ahh)
