[QUOTE="CharlyMurphy"][QUOTE="Bulova"][QUOTE="CharlyMurphy"][QUOTE="Bulova"][QUOTE="CharlyMurphy"][QUOTE="Bulova"] [QUOTE="charomid"]you will never get the same console back that you sent in. but i think everytime you receive a console from ms, you get a brand spankin 3 year warranty on it for rrod. my friend sent his in, in december, and then again last week and he was told its a new warrantyBulova
That's not true. The last time I sent it in, I got the exact same one back...still broken too....
And your 3 year warranty doesn't renew every time you get a repair done...it will always be 3 years from the date of purchsae of your original console if they send you a refurbished console. It may be different for if they send you a brand new one.
A couple months ago i was talking to a representive say my xbox got the 3 RROD and was saying i get a 3 yr warranty right? he kept saying no i dont know why. so now i have a rrod 360 that cant be repaired
You should call them again....
The launch consoles are even still covered for RROD....it hasn't been 3 years until November 22, 2008.
i think its to late now that my warranty expired. so now i have to pay 100 bucks for a 1 yr warranty if it breaks.
It's absolutely impossible for your warranty to have expired. Like I said...even the original launch consoles are still covered for RROD...it hasn't been 3 years yet. Call and get it fixed dude.....It has not expired.
well i got mine in nov 2006 and i called them about 3 weeks ago about my warranty and they said i got a 1 yr warranty in nov 06 and it ran out in march 2008. i kept tolding them repeatdidly in march that my 360 RROD and i get the 3yr warranty. the representive kept saying no. i dont know what else to tell them
Call in again...you will get somebody else...
Your console's 1 year warranty is for everything except RROD...RROD on your console is covered until Nov 2009....
If they keep refusing, then ask to speak to a supervisor....just keep fighting for it man....it's worth not having to pay the $170 repair fee.
its actually only covered until november 2008 not 2009
