The weather over here in England for the past week has been swelteringly hot. It's unbearable to be nuder the duvet at night and its only April!

 Yesterday I sat out in the garden reading a book and I managed to get really burnt even though I was wearing spf30 sun cream. I have strap marks in April-the time of April showers.(I love that Disney song)

I hope everyone had a good easter, I spent most of mine with my family, it was good to relax for a while and eating all the chocolate didn't hurt either!

I went to see Eragon at the cinema today, I am a big fan of the books and thought it was about time to see the film. I was disappointed, don't get me wrong, the film is really good, the acting and graphics are amazing but it just doesnt' stick to the book enough. Th plot has been tampered wih so much by the film crew that it is going to be nearly impossible to make a film out of the second book- Eldest.

I can't wait for the third book in the Inheritance trilogy to come out, it should be very good. I will probably have a long time to wait though, it took a good three years for the second book to come out.

I have recently bought a 'music in film' quiz from a friend who is trying to fund an expedition, it is so entertaining. I have become obsessed with finding the right answers, its a craze!

 Doctor Who last night was really good, I think that Martha will make a good assistant, I still prefer Rose but hey, I have only seen one episode worth of Martha.

So, today I went to the hairdressers and had my haircut, I guess you never saw that one coming from the reading the title?!?!! Anyway I have gone a lot shorter, have a side frings and flicky bits. I am happy with it, I want to know my friends' verdicts though so fingers crossed for tomorow!

I have just disovered the world of podcasts, they really are cool, its like listening to a radio that you can pause. Naturally I have downloaded the tv.com one and I have also subscribed to Russell Brand's.

My mum was happy with my effort for mother's day, this involved a small card and a present but she was pleased or at least seemed to be.

After a nail biting 5 minutes I finally got a weekend ticket to go to the V festival in Hylands Park. I can't wait to go, the line up is really good, here are my favourite people that are playing:

Went to see the Killers at Wembley arena last saturday and they were amazing! They are playing V this year, so hopefully I will get to see them again.

Today is the scrum for V festival tickets, the box office opens in 13 minutes so I have my fingers crossed hoping to get a weekend pass for me and a couple of friends. The line up this year is really good, I love virtually all the bands that are going.

I will post later to inform you of my success, ooh, I am sooo nervous.

All of my current work has been handed in and I feel a lot happier about it. It's holiday time and I am completely stress free.

However much I love something there is always a limit to which I can take it, and todays limit has been reached in the geography department.
