Overwhelmed?  I'm sorry but I've been in plenty of electronics stores in the past two weeks alone and I barely even notice the blu-ray section in comparison to the 40 or so shelves of DVD's surrounding it.  Blu-Ray and HD-DVD both have a LOT of catching up to do, and honestly, not only do I know nobody who cares, I also don't know very many people who even knows what Blu-Ray is.

The DS's best selling games are Brain Age and Nintendogs I believe...so if Wii makes games like those, then yeah it might.  Which is exactly what worries me...

Gears of war was the most overated game of last year. It stole oblivion's much deserved GOTY award.

Oblivion had so many flaws.  It's a brilliant game, and usually when you point out the games problems, you do it while you're playing on your 50th hour or so but there are still many flaws.  If Oblivion didn't have so many problems like half the game being a loading screen, the levelling system being unrewarding and the world feeling a bit detached at times, it would've won for sure.  It was a fair fight in my opinion.

Two of the next gen consoles just came out. This gen has barely begun.

Hahahahaha.  I'm never reading a PS3_FTW topic again.

Good Riddens tbh.  I was stuck with that bloody thing all through last gen, no PS2, it was terrible.

Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4 were the only two games I could ever get excited for on the system, Wind Waker was great but not superb in my opinion, it was too tedious travelling between items and the fetch quests were a pain.  The thing just had no games.  This is why I'm hesitant on Wii.
