Sadly that "target render" may prevent this game from ever being shown, the second they finally show this game and it doesn't look like the video they showed at E3 (and let's face it folks, it won't) they will look really bad

Most Wireless routers will do the trick, I have a WRT54G and it's pretty good, but a guy I work with (I work in an IT department at a University), hates the WRT54G (and he knows what he's talking about).  I have noticed the range isn't so hot on the WRT54G (I live in a tiny 3 bedroom house, and it barely reaches 2 bedrooms, I had to wire the last room), BUT I also live in the middle of a big city (San Franciso) so there's a ton of interference (between 10 other routers that I can see from my room, to the countless other cordless phones that share the 2.4ghz frequency with the router) and that most likely has something to do with it.  In short, but the one you can get a good deal on if it's Linksys or Netgear.

[QUOTE="nanomecha4"]The only reason 360 version has online is because Sumo Digital is western dev. AM3 is Japanese. Its not a 360/PS3 issue. Its a Developer problem. AM2 is the superior developer but Sumo is better geared for online implentation. Too bad Online is gonna suck for VT3 anyways.davez82

Another fanboy statement. I'm shocked & surprised...

dood seriously are u the fanboy police for ps3 fanboys on the ps3 forum??? go to some other forum. its so annoying you saying fanboy every other post..

While I agree with you on the point that it doesn't need to be pointed out all the time, sometimes you gotta call people on the really dumb crap they say sometimes.

I'm willing to bet that the fact that they do not have to serve up the online, or develop any of the interface, or protocols, or anything else, might have something to do with it.

[QUOTE="nanomecha4"]How would an Online Version of Tennis game even work? Any sort of Lag will kill accuracy of strokes or shots. 360's online version isnt much to look forward to. At least the PS3 version is being made by SEGA's superior AM2 studio and 360 version is beind made by Sumo Digital. PS31080p version FTW. nanomecha4

Fanboy alert.

Fakeboy Alert.

No it is Fanboyism, how could possibly not understand the concept and how it could be fun to play any multiplayer game online?

Ahhhhh now we see why Microsoft's Online strategy is superior, MS did all the hard work for the developers, so it is almost trivial to add online play (with friends list, voice chat, global invites) to almost every game.  When you have to run your own servers, serve up voice chat, serve up video chat, serve up buddy lists, and develop your own buddy system, you will be much less likely to do so.  Will Sony 1st party games have all that?  Yes.  EA games?  Probably.  Most other developers? it's not so certain now.

It's not like the PS3 is NOT getting the game anyhow. This isn't like how FF7 switched right over to the Psone and nothing for the N64. I'd say things are going pretty well.thedarkomen
Exactly, no matter what happens PS3 will get DMC4 and most likely it will be fun!

I wouldn't say that the rumor was smashed, there are plenty of cases where a company denies things, to later announce it.  They said "We do not comment on rumors" they then continue to say "DMC4 is exclusive to PS3, no other announcements have been made" seems pretty flimsy to me, a company with NO intentions of porting it, would say it, flat out, "It will not come out on 360", all they said was "Well we haven't said it's coming out on Xbox 360"

Am I saying it is coming out on the 360?  No, it may not, but this was a very flimsy denial.

How does this policy suck?  You bought a new game, played it, guess what you have now?  A used game.  Trade-in, quit b*tching, never shop at EB again if you think it's a crappy policy (but it's everyone's policy)
