@Viper13579: elden ring is a totally different game world than souls or bloodborne, the other games are far more linear, especially Bloodborne. I too can relate, I lost interest on ER far sooner than any other soulsborne title to date. Not saying it's bad, far from, absolutely amazing game. Personally I find huge maps with icons dotted everywhere less appealing than a tightly focused game.
@kaki: Smart, interesting breakdown cheers. I've got a fee ng+ toons that can jump into the dlc and a new game toon that's beaten the boss and waiting at the bonfire, lamp post, whatever it's called near by.
@rhovaniel: yeah kinda, he's the boss in an optional area deep underground. It's home to probably the best soul farming spots in the entire game as well. Once the credits roll yes, you can keep on exploring the map provided you haven't chosen to begin ng+ of course. Happy hunting
@rogerexplodey: aha! Well remembered, I have played it bit don't think I finished it. Could be time soon to head back to that weird house an see it to the conclusion.
@rogerexplodey: totally, all about the mood. I really enjoyed exploring the vast world of Elden Ring but other times, a tight, focused rail like game hits all the right buttons. You mentioned Plaque tale, damn I love those 2 games! As mich as I enjoy a huge world, I also love getting stuck into very different titles like vanishing of Ethan Carter, dear Ester, or a favorite of mine, Soma.
