Just wondering..I just got my Wii yesterday and wondering if it is safe to leave it on stand by on a big screen t.v. It won't burn the screen will it?

Just wondering, the Wifi connection you just hook up into your USB port of your computer? Does it matter if you have DSL or Cable..etc.., and how far away can your Wii be from the computer? Also whats the price on it? lol
What do you need to get to be able to have internet on your Wii.. thats how you download VC games right? hhaha
