I was just told by a friend that games those 2 mmo's will require vista to run because they are sharing their player base with Xbox 360 players. Is that true?

If thats true then I doubt those games will be very successful, since many gamers will refuse to get vista.

I just played crysis on vista with my new graphics card. Asides from being dissapointed with the overall performance I am also shocked to see not much difference between Dx10 and Dx 9 anyone else here has any comments about how much better the visuals are in Vista? If they are even worth it?

I am thinking of going back to Xp.

I will be running Crysis on Vista, with all high settings, 1080 x 768, 2x AA

According to this picture of my motherboard it looks like itll fit just I wont be able to take the ram out without taking out the graphics card which is not really an issue.

Any input im ordering tomorrow?

Sorry if I don't know much about graphics cards I have only installed the 7900 gs in my lifetime. Is the 8800 GT or all graphics cards "top part" or highest part where the pci slot goes and the fan is below? Because if thats the case then from the top pci e port I have about 1 inch of space downwards, is that enough for the card?
