Hey guys, I'm looking to buy an iPhone 3G dock, and I just have a question that's keeping me from buying.

For the basic $30 dock, I'm a bit worried that the base looks too small, and it looks like it would tip over very easily. Because of this concern, I'm looking at the $50 dock that comes with a remote, which looks like it has a bit wider base. Another question that I have is that if I have the $50 dock (with the remote) plugged into my PC, if I used the remote, would the remote play the audio over the speakers of the PC that the base is plugged into, or would it just play it over the crappy iPhone speakers.

Do any of you guys own these docks and can inform me a bit on them? Thanks in advance.

I just got an iPhone, and when I first plugged it in, it told me that I had to reinstall a 64bit version of iTunes. "OK whatever" I say. I uninstall it and restart my computer.

I download the 64bit version from here. When I install, it looks like it almost finishes, but then says "Rolling back progress" or something and uninstalls everything, telling me that there was an error and to try again later. I download it again, try the previous installer (that worked) and it did the same thing. When I try to change the install location, it says Windows installer has encountered an error and crashes.

This leads me to believe that Windows is at fault, not iTunes.

Can anyone help me out? I just got the iPhone and it's very annoying not to be able to do anything. Thanks in advance.

Wow! I'm not even a fan of Oregon St (I live in Texas) but I find myself jumping up and down for this team!

And all I can say is that it was a very interesting movie. I don't really get though how Brad Pitt's character died, yet Edward Norton's character survived.
