Hey guys. I know I'm kind of bringing this thread back from the dead, but on some other forums I think I determined the problem of my crash. (the GPU temperature problem is still up in the air)

Could my problem be that I'm underpowering my system? I've got a Q6600 OC'd to 3.4GHz, 2GB DDR2 Ram, Factory-OC'd 8800GT, 3xSATA HDDs (55GB, 180GB, 250GB), and one DVD Burner. I'm not completely sure, but isn't 450w of power just seem a little low for this system?

[QUOTE="steve_indahouse"]Hey guys, which one is better EVGA or XFX, i think EVGA,ch5richards

Other than warranty and different overclocks they are they same.

XFX has a double lifetime warranty, while EVGA has a lifetime warranty and a 90 step-up program.

But if the step-up program is what you want BFG has a 100 day step-up program.

This.

In case anyone didnt know, the double lifetime warranty means that you get a lifetime warranty, and if you sell the card to someone and they register it, they also get a lifetime warranty.

hey guys, i am currently using two monitors, one 22" LCD for my main stuff, and a little old 15" LCD to side for stuff like xfire etc. since i have xfire constantly up and it never moves, it has definately bled in quite a bit. i'm just wondering, will using a lighter skin for xfire make it bleed in less? right now its using a dark grey/dark blue skin.

thanks in advance

Would you guys stop looking for reasons to hate it? We haven't even seen any gameplay yet. The only similarity between this game and CoD2/3 is the weapons. Treyarch is by NO means a bad developer, they just have to live up to Infinity Ward's standard, which is a hard thing to do. While I do agree it wasn't the smartest thing they've ever done to move back to World War 2, at least they had the decency to change to a different theatre, which has vastly different environments and battles.

Just shut up and wait until we see some gameplay before you guys start yelling at Treyarch for it being "an extremely mediocre generic first person war game."

Yeah, theres no real way in my knowledge to do something like "delete everything, EXCEPT _____".

You'll have to do something like what Gregoroth said.

Your 6200 overclocked competes with a 8500GT? Then my 7600 GT overclocked competes with a 8800GTX.

Also why do your links link to Outlook Express? And learn to spell and use punctuation. My 4 year old cousin can spell better then you.

Also it would be a waste to get water cooling for that card, you are better off saving up for a 8800 GT or GTS (since some of them are essentially the same price)

We're rude to him because of his hubris and arrogance, not because he is just asking for a bit of advice.

[QUOTE="AnxietyDisorder"]Why do you even care about that gpu? Its old and ****gamerloks

may be old but i overclocked it enough to compete with a GeForce 8500GT and you may say that that card is outdated but have in mind that mines its an 80$ dollar card and i dont know if you are sh|||eting your money but im barely 16 and i probably own a better system than you owned when you where my age thats if you had a PC and i probablty have a better system than you did three years ago thats why i care about my sh|||||ety card (p.s and next time find a blog to criticize this blog its to help each other and give advice not to come here with your lame critics)

I'm 15 and the rig I built could run circles around yours.
