I am planning on buying a PS3 for this holiday season. I hear the 80gb is $400. I also heard that there's a 160gb coming in Nov. I can't seem to decide which SKU to get so I'll ask all of you. First I'll tell what I do in terms of use:

1) Play Games

2) Download demos, themes and wallpapers.

3) Watch my Blu-Ray DVDs

I'm not the type who fill the HDD with music, photos or movies unless its gameplay footage. I also want to know:

1) Does the PS3 copy some or all of the games onto the HDD when it comes to installation?

2) How much HDD space do you start with on a console with the exception of preloaded apps?

3) Should I get the PS3 now or hold off until November when the 160gb hits?

I already bought Uncharted & MGS4. I already payed off my preorders for LBP, R2 & Dead Space.

Given the info I have provided. What would you PS3 owners recommend?

My guess is that Snake will risk his life and die for Olga's daughter but there will be a twist in the end where his genetics will be cloned for another Snake for the future. Probably a younger version of Snake to signify what Kojima said all along in the game about Cloning individuals. Of course that would stipulate another sequel so I could be wrong but you never know what's going on inside Kojima's head about the franchise.

Lately I have been playing RFOM and Warhawk but most of the people seem to either be very disrespectful or they have no mics. I am looking for people who talk and are pretty cool to play with online. So for those people: Can you please PM me through here and give me your PSN ID or ask for mine.

TrustMe I tried for some time to get along with ppl online and outta like hundreds of ppl I only liked about 2 ppl who seemed to play for fun and competition.

I got my 60gb PS3 on Tues. played the crap outta RFOLM but took a break and decided to play Metal Gear Solid: Subsistence. I already went to the site that tells the status of the BC but when I play it there seems to be a screeching sound of some sort. The audio seemed off on the game. Is there anthing I can do? To be basic its nothing I have heard from the game before. Anybody know what it is. I already updated my system to 1.93 I believe.

Like it says above I decided to goget my PS3 today and let me tell you. I really love it. Playing Resistance Fall of Man reminded me of playing Gears of War on the 360. Yes I am a PS360 Fanboy lol j/k I love both consoles. The only thing,may sound stupid but I'm not a tech guy, is when I turn my console off the red light is on. I read that it is in standby mode. Can someone explain to me about this. Is it still running electricity or what? Need to know but my PSN ID is RelentlessX if you wanna add me so I can chill with some cool peeps online playing RFOM (only game I got right now). The coolest thingwas that I traded in some old games and controllers and it cost me only $522 for the system, RFOM and Uncharted. To all the ppl on this board who helped me decide to finally get a PS3. TYVM! I'll probably be playing it tomorrow and then RFOM oline by the weekend (I'm the type who doesn't touch the online until I beat the campaign).
