FYI, the GBA is not even close to being dead, if the latest sales figures are any indication. Here is the breakdown, the DS was first, followed by the PS2, the Wii, the 360, & the GBA. The PS3 was last, so believe or not, the GBA sold more than the PS3. Think about it, the little old GBA, with it's 8 year old technology, sold more than the the mighty PS3, with the latest technology.

Believe it or not, I bought it new at my local Kmart, a few months ago for $7.00. It was on clearance around Christmas time. So check your local Kmart & other department stores, you may get lucky & find one. By the way, it is a great game.

[QUOTE="Lord_Crump"]Its not dead yet, there are still plenty of games that are going to come out for it.
Plus how could it be dead if its still comming in differnt colors like the more recent teal and pink verisons?
plus it was the handhelded system of the year in 2005! Its far from dead.

Thank you, I have been trying to say the same thing. It was the best selling handheld for 2005, plus they are still making them, so how could it be dead.

This has been discussed before, & I will say the same thing I said before, the GBA is far from dead. Nintendo may be putting more focus on the DS & the Rev launch, but their are plenty of third party games coming out for the GBA. Also, the GBA was the best selling handheld of 2005, so that doesn't sound like a dead system to me. And, Nintendo has already stated that the DS is not the successor to the GBA.

I think waiting would be better. After a couple of price drops, & they fix all of the design flaws, then I will buy one.

Their has been no official date announced. But, the best estimation is November. Nintendo likes to release new hardware around that time of year.

They probably have third party games already being developed. Nintendo is famous for holding back info when it comes to new consoles, games etc. They probably made everyone sign an agreement, not to talk about it, until E3. But, it wouldn't surprise me to find out, that some third parties, such as Square-Enix or Capcom, have already received their dev kits. Remember, Nintendo has to have some third party titles ready at launch, to go with their own titles.

I don't think their will be any problem with porting over any next-gen games to the Revolution. Processing power is what counts, & the Gamecube was pretty fast, maybe the fastest of this gen. I don't know if anybody has ever tested them all, but I would say that the Gamecube could load a game faster than the PS2. And, maybe as fast as the Xbox.

I am not too concerned with graphics, but rumors have said that the Revolution will about twice as good as the Gamecube, which is fine by me. As far as the classic game availability, all of Nintendos own games will be available. I have heard, that Nintendo is trying to secure the rights to include other classic games as well.
